It says I have five messages on here and I cannot figure out how to see them?
I want to see them even if I already have before because I’m confused and don’t remember. Plus it seems like a good thing to understand

Messages on this forum are called "conversations". To find them click on the envelope icon on the top left corner.

After you open them they cannot be accessed again can they?

Yes you can, just click the envelope and "show all" will bring up all your conversations.

For some reason when I do that only one shows and it’s not even the most recent conversation. That’s okay though.

I think the number you're referring to is actually a tally of your posts on ACF -- not private messages (which, as others noted, are called "conversations").

For instance, your current message/post count seems to be 8 based on your stats,
and from looking at your profile it seems it would have been 5 prior to your posts in this thread.
