I was a subscriber to MET-Art for a long time. Until the summer of 2010, they offered subscribers their own strictly moderated cam shows as a perk, a lot of them with some of their featured models, who were paid by MET and almost exclusively Russian. Originally they didn't offer private shows and even tips weren't a thing when I first started visiting. In 2010, they abandoned their own site, which reopened as Chatgf.com, and went with a Streamate white label.
ha ha mine was good old chaturbate because a friend recommended it... i was like wait why? and they said because there is awesome people on there and thats when i got hooked on a model named Kati3kat! and then i moved to MFC because i heard there was awesome people there and good pay and etc... then i got hooked to MFC! an have been on it since.

The first cam site I ever visited was MFC, there was a pop-under from a porn site I was surfing. And it was fascinating to me. I wish I could remember the name of the first girl whose room I spent a good twenty minutes in out of curiosity, but I don't think she cams anymore.

MFC. The site loaded automatically in another window as a pop-up and there was a naked lady talking to her room. I thought it was just a video so typed something silly like "pat your head if you're a real person" and then she shocked me by telling me she wouldn't pat her head for me. It was like Skynet had become self-aware or something.

Same. Had a pretty cool time with one of their featured models. Didn't use it much though. And that was it until I stumbled onto MFC a couple years later.
I thought it was streamate but now I'm not too sure nowadays, but prior to CB, the site was the only cam website I saw that actively encouraged members to sign up for club memberships for their favorite model to gain access to pics and vids. Speaking of which, I'm not sure the last time I heard a CB model promote her fan club

Well, here's a new one for the thread. CumTV.com, which as it turns out is just a rebranding of Cams.com. Or maybe they merged later, IDK. Totally a shocker to discover the exact same models and my account worked at the main Cams.com site one day. Then I discovered LJ and MFC in that order, years later, though I can hardly remember how anymore. I'd heard of but never looked at CB, and didn't even know what SM was until this site, and I had to wait until someone typed it out full to figure it out since the acronym rung no bells.
I can't remember the name of it, but it was circa 2001 or 2, and I met the wonderful Charissa, who taught me how to say "The donkey ate my elbow" in Romanian, and I feel like my cam experiences have been ever better because!
