i saw this on a vegan blog.. i dont remember which. most people have no grasp of what they are eating when they eat meat so this doesnt surprise me
baby pigs are so freaking cute though. gawd i want to hug them.

LMAO !! It is truly astounding how pure stupid, ignorant and uneducated people are in general. What simpleton would NOT know such a thing isnt even possible to begin with. I mean the machine would have to be larger, wouldnt be hand powered, you'd hear the pig squealing etc etc...

That said.. I remember a thing about city kids a few years ago. Several generations in only the inner city. One teenage kid, that was proud he drank milk by the gallon almost every day, had no clue it didn't come from a factory. A bus load was taken to a working farm half days ride away. After he watched the milking process and saw it all from udder to bottle, he said something to the effect 'Im never drinking cow pis again.'

  Carnivores Unite !!  ..and don't forget your fava beans and Chianti !!

I think sometimes people need something shoved in their face to take notice of it. They always knew where their meat came from, but if any of us ever visited a slaughterhouse I think many would reassess their views on eating animals

....been in several beef and pig plants over the years. While the process is a bit out of average Joe/Janes daily life paths, its not that much to deal with. To me it show's how the generations since our fathers [grandfathers for the young'ns here] have simply buried their heads in the proverbial pillow progressively deeper to make life all soft, cushy and politically correct.

Had our heads buried in pillows maybe, let's not be naive and assume industry and corporations don't do their best to distance us from any of their practices that might influence us to stop buying their products.

Certainly it doesn't absolve us of the consequences of our consumption, seeing sweatshop conditions in third-world countries would make a lot of people avoid buying brand-name fashion too, or sneakers, wallets...ignorance is bliss I guess.
