Hi!

I am trying to get fully prepared before my first ever stream on stripchat - how do i set the tip menu up, edit my bio and also pm ? Any tips and advice woud be appreciated.

Hello and welcome @Bella_British - we are very happy to have you on Stripchat Great job on wanting to set everything up prior to your first broadcast!

There are 2 places where you will need to set things up: Your Profile and Your Broadcast Center.

On your Profile, you can add to My Information, add your schedule, videos, photo albums, and panels.

The Broadcast Center is the big green button. Click here, and then click the next green button that says Set Up Broadcast. In this section you can set up your tip menu, bots, wheel of fortune, show activities, pricing, etc. all before going live for the first time.

I definitely recommend taking advantage of the fact that Stripchat lets you save multiple tip menu templates and switch between them, once you get the hang of making one. Very helpful if you're planning to do diverse shows!

MFC didnt work, earned well but sends you round the bend obsessed with cam score and rank. v unhealthy and I like a real life lol how does the rating system work on Stripchat? Also for pvt shows any advice i.e. is one like a grou how and one 1;1 fully locked and secure? Dothey keep the footage of a pvt on their account?

Stripchat i see models can manage and edit the tip menu and wheel which is good thank you for letting me know about multiple tip menu's as that works to appeal to a broad selection like findom (who doesn't love a piggy ha) ...tried streammate it is similar but no freedom to upload, no creative ownership over tip menu/wheel and profile been dormant for a while so empty room. Just trying to find something that isn't porn heavy so hoping stripchat is it and fun without hard porn aspect .

Is it a good & reliable full time money earner? I want to block the UK out, is traffic mostly from USA?

Sorry for the questions, i want to be prepared before first stream, i went to MFC never done camming before, knew nothing andtold nothing by the model who got me into it and it was so traumatic and damaging. Did a year and left to try new place for a long term gig and stripchat looks like it could be it.

Also, im unclear on the face showing rule, MFC you HAVE to show your face one camera all times, thats very distressing in itself and feels very 'pimp' like, am i right to understand i can hide my face on stripchat? Happy to i pvt, kinda nervous if honest lol Dont want to be told off as soon as I start lol

One more- can we sell Snap, Teams and Telegram on the stripchat tip menus? If yes can the 1:1 video calls be done off the stripchat?

I show my face 25% of the stream on MFC. And that was more than enough to never get in trouble. I hide my face on every other cam site unless they tip for it. ShowFace 25 Gold on SM 150 on CB, & SC and CS

I will reply to your questions below:

How does the rating system work on Stripchat? - There are 2 different rating systems. One is your Stripscore. This helps your visibility on the page and is determined mostly by your income per hour for the last so many hours of streaming. The other rating system is Strippoints. When you cam, you gain Strippoints and this helps rank you amongst the other models. Every model restarts at 0 Strippoints at the start of each month.

Regarding your questions about privates, you can do a regular private (where the user types to you). In this type of private, other users can spy (if you have that feature enabled). In Exclusive privates, it is just you and that user (no spying), and he can turn on his cam if he wishes to. Users can record the privates if you allow that feature.

Our traffic comes from all over the world. USA definitely does bring a lot of traffic. You are welcome to block any country / region you chose to on your Settings & Privacy page.

On Stripchat you are absolutely welcome to hide your face from users. As a heads up, we will request an extra verification for faceless models (this is just so we can verify that the person camming is the person who uploaded documents) - but this is for internal use only, the users do not see that verification.

Can we sell Snap, Teams and Telegram on the stripchat tip menus? Yes, you bet. Messaging platforms can be sold for tokens, for MESSAGING purposes only.

Can the 1:1 video calls be done off the stripchat? This is a hard no. All shows need to take place on Stripchat and advertising off-platform shows can get you permanently banned (so I am very happy that you asked this question ).
