With all the posts that are so rampant recently with "I was banned but they didn't tell me WHYYYYY", I feel like it just needs to be said.

The sites we work on are not our employers, we are contractors. They are private companies that provide a platform for us to use. It's like renting a booth at a swap meet or farmer's market - we run our room how we want, but if it is upsetting the owners of the place, you are no longer welcome. They ALLOW us to use their site, until they find something that gives them reason for not doing so. They do NOT need to give detail about their reasons about it, if and when, we are removed from that platform.

Sure, it would be polite, but it isn't a requirement to be polite. That's a courtesy. Once in a blue moon they do so, but don't expect it. MOVE ON.

Same goes with my forum here. ACF is not a given right, it's a privilege to be able to use it if you so choose. It was not originally created to be a means of appealing bans on cam sites!

I am an individual human running this site. If I personally dislike how you operate, I ban you and you're never welcome back. Imagine that is my house and I let you come over to chat with others over tea... you behave in a way I dislike, I push you out the front door. I do not open that door again for you and I do NOT owe you a reason WHY. This space is not a guarantee of positive interaction with site reps, it is not a guarantee of support for your cause, it is not a guarantee that you'll get the encouragement and support of other cam models or members for your plight.

I don't know if it's a generational thing, or a regional thing, etc... but there's so much more expectation of full disclosure from both the cam site reps/support and myself here this year. I don't know how better to say "get over it and fuck off" when people don't take "no" or merely take the silence of non-reply the way it's intended. If someone says they can no longer help/reply to you, that isn't an invitation to INCESSANTLY repost your query. It's an indication that you need to go away, as there is NOTHING to be gained from remaining here/sending emails to support of the site you're banned from.

💚 and i am very happy you run ACF the way you do. It definitely is not regional because i see it mixed from America, Europe and everywhere else. Maybe age? Maybe just ‚the times we live in‘ but a no so often is not accepted. And ppl seem to read siterules less than the instructions of an IKEA nightstand thinking they are owed a hundred chances and explanations if they fuck up.

Thank you for your work! And damn i could not be as polite as long as you are 🫣

Have a nice, relaxing Sunday and start of autumn 💚

You're right. I love this forum and the members of the community that I interact with here, even though I'm a member and not a model. I have noticed more and more though that when I view the "latest posts" it's almost 99% people complaining about/appealing bans. Totally agree with your stance.

At times, I’ve wondered if the most common phrase to appear in a thread title on ACF is “for no reason.”

I can joke about it because I can ignore it if I want to. You don’t have that luxury, Amber, and I feel like you’re performing a very thankless “service” (for lack of better term) by even allowing such complaints here.

Not sure how you manage it, but thanks very much for your efforts.

I also think it's sad that they won't participate in the community past asking for assistance and then badgering for assistance.

If they came around here more often they'd learn how to not get banned in the first place.

Their subsequent posts usually betray their fake politeness when they get push back from community members.

I do think it's an age thing because people in their late 30's and early 40's were taught how to write business letters/complaints properly without flowery language. We were not raised with second chances afforded for any reason so we get it right the first time.

The amount of begging is truly gobsmacking. It's not a sign of humility or repentance, it's a sign you weren't taught how to organize your thoughts well enough to get your point across in a succinct and effective way.

Thank you Amber for being here and doing all of this. I know I've learned a lot and even changed my mind on a few things I was closed minded about in the past. 💜

I felt like I stepped into a candy store when I found this place 😭 I don't know other cam models in real life, I have friends who do onlyfans on the side and whatnot but that's it, so this is a real community center for me. I can't imagine just showing up to bother punker barbie and then leaving forever.

Same here! None of my friends know wtf I'm talking about most of the time. I did some customer service on the phone at home in the before-fore and there was a discord like app we could use to chat. I always missed having like a few people that do what I do to chat with or a place to complain about what you deal with on the job and everyone actually knows what your talking about. People don't understand this world unless their in this world.
