Hello girls!
As Im new here I have couple of questions.
1.How do girls get HD stream on their profiles? How can I set up that? I have LOGITECH WEBcam BCC950 Conference- is it possible with this cam? my internet is very good although. What do I need to do to perform on better qualittty?
2. Last time when i was online, I had many members in my room, but no one type a shit in my chat! I had a feeling that I can stand on my head, but no one still care and answer! What do you do in situations like this?
3.I have some regular Basic and prem members who come to visit me each time I come online, they are very nice, but never tip a shit..I dont understand how to act with them, sometimes it can be so annoying!
4.From where models get all those funny smileys what they put in chat?
5. Sometimes I see animate (moving) subtitles on girls live stream windows when they are online for example " Property of myfreecams", etc. How I can get something like that on my livestream window?Like you can see here:

It seems your cam is 1080p HD, so yes you will be able to stream in HD. I'm only a member so I don't know how to set it up with MFC.

Yes there are members who won't or barely chat to you in public, this can be for various reasons, for example -
They prefer to PM you (can be very distracting)
They are watching more than one model at once
Doing something else while watching you
I would just keep saying now and again something like "Don't be a afraid to chat to me guys" or something along those lines.

Yeah I think it would be hard to know how to be towards this. Basics obviously can't tip you, so if they ever start being rude or annoying, just mute them. With regular premiums, i would keep chatting to them, but don't do any requests without tips of course. Just because they won't have tips one night, doesnt mean they wont another night. And i guess it's mostly better to have them in your room than not have them.

Most models i think use a program called ManyCam, you can download it here - http://manycam.com/

** Note - when you are installing it, it will ask do you want to install a toolbar and change your homepage settings, DONT do this !
Here is a link to a screenshot i posted, showing the two boxes to untick and then the cancel button to click, ManyCam will then be installed without the toolbar and stuff :)
https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/viewt ... 02#p420583
** Also to remove the manycam logo, On the Video tab, go to Text over video, and at the bottom of the window, untick the box beside the text Show ManyCam logo

All of the above info is super helpful and correct! If you have a Mac like me and can't download the software, you'll have to use the model browser which they link you to on MFC. It is best used on Google Chrome and should pick up your HD cam no problem, just be sure to have the latest flash installed and you're good to go!

@KoolGuy Thank youuuu! Been searching for this all over the forum but I don't get great results searching for "HD".

I think I figured out how to do it, go to settings in the lower left hand corner, and click through the tabs. There is a box for "trying out" MFC's HD cam. I tried it and actually got less complaints about my connection and I think it also attracts more viewers. Yay!

Argh!!! I tried that and mine seemed to get all choppy and pixelated. At least that's what the members said. Any clue as to why this is? I have a logitech c920 and it takes pictures wonderfully and skypes great in 1080. I just don't understand why it's not working on MFC in HD. I also am using the web browser on google chrome.

There are lots of possibilities:

  1. Your upload speed may be capped at a rate too low to do HD broadcasts. (MFC uses a different video encoding than Skype, so even if Skype works MFC might have problems.)
  2. There may be a problem in the internet backbone somewhere between your ISP and MFC's ISP. I've certainly seen weird routing issues at times that have made MFC crappy for me.
  3. There could be an issue at MFC's end. From what I've seen it seems that they have multiple video servers and depending which one you end up on your stream could be better/worse depending on which one you happen to land on for a particular session.
  4. Your computer may be too slow to encode video using MFC's HD compression algorithm. Note that while the c920 camera has built-in hardware for doing h.264 compression (which Skype might be using), MFC completely ignores it. They run their own (very inefficient) compression algorithm on your computer's CPU.

Hm...I suppose I'll start with my internet first then. It's just weird because I pay for the best possible internet around and I'm getting less than half the download and upload speeds both on wifi and when hooked up with ethernet cord. I am starting to think it may just be the router so I suppose I will try that first and see if that helps. Does anyone have any experience with a specific router that works well?

Thanks so much Tim for your help!!!

I tried the HD and beta options today. Both were laggy and/or pixelated, according to members. My sound was fantastic, though! I really don't think it's anything on my end, I have a gaming desktop with excellent internet, and could run Streamate's encoder no problem.

Also, here is the link to the emotes:
http://www.myfreecams.com/mfc2/php/user_chat_images.php

Don't use them too much, they can bog some peoples computers down.

I had the same issue with HD, and quit using it. I really wish I knew what would help to fix this, but I don't want to waste time on MFC just attempting to fix the problem. It looks good out of HD, I just feel it would be nice to have it working properly.
