How are models able to view member cams without member knowing?

They're not looking at your camera. They're seeing your name appear as "Bobxxx has joined the room" and they're talking to people behind the scenes to say "Fuck's sake, here's that Bob fucker again" and telling you to go away with their hands because you are a conspiracy theory mentalist. Nothing to do with them seeing your camera. Just to do with your presence in their room.
I’m willing to bet Bob had mentioned his paranoia about being seen through his camera before, in that model’s room.
Which means there’s also a possibility they remembered that, and they were just fucking with him.
Also - even if they could see you, which they cannot - why would they freak out and tell you to leave for covering your camera? What’s the rational cause for panic, in that situation? “Oh no! We can’t see him! He needs to leave immediately!!!”
(I realize I’m trying to apply logic to a very illogical thing here, but alas.)

1) you can easily check this by signing up as a model and seeing what information models get.
2) you do realize if they were looking directly at you it would look like they wernt looking at you because you. If it looks like they are looking directly at you it means they are looking into a camera lens, most models wont be using teleprompters, so if they are "looking at you" they are not looking at you.

Well yes and no. The five second built-in delay means whatever he saw happened before they saw his name enter the chat. They could also be multi-streaming. Reacting to something in a tip note...it's amazing how many guys forget tip notes are a thing we respond to as well as chat.
She may have even been reacting to a legit C2C with a different member, and Bob took her reactions the wrong way. Or FaceTime calling a friend (I’ve seen that during streams before). Or communicating with a monitor in her studio.
I’m not a model, but I’m guessing there are probably a thousand explanations for what Bob claims to have seen, each of them more plausible than “models can see me through the camera hole.”
Yep yep yep. Plus no one sees the messages we ban anymore. Used to be able to refresh and see what was said but that's been gone for a while now.

Yeah, so this isn't one of those things that is an opinion thing. This is a one way or the other issue. There's no continuum of models seeing cameras, either they do or they don't. They don't.
It's like rigorously conducted scientific experiments, sometimes they come out with a, do or do not answer. Critical thinking is a really important skill to develop and hone. Not everyone has the blessing of a great education, but we can all try our best to improve and self-teach.
Critical thinking not only benefits the self, but it benefits everyone else too. So it's kind of a community thing.
I want as many people as possible to try to develop, and hone that skill.
Trying to explain the 5 second delay to Bob will be pointless. He probably also believes that models are shapeshifting time-travellers.
I mean I guess having revenge porn fantasies against one's own self is kind of a thing, but just admit it? Or maybe that's part of it. IDK, some kinks just fly over my head.

I mean to be fair, they can get super complex, layered and individual. It's not ever a straightforward thing trying to figure out who's into what. Especially given the shame many people feel attached to anything sexual, and the resulting secrecy, and reluctance to talk openly about the topic.

I mean, not to be that annoying, anal, nit picky friend.... but I'm pretty sure paranoia (at least genuine paranoia ) is a biochemical issue.
I'm sure therapy would be a great adjunct treatment, though I think maybe go see a Psychiatrist/ psychiatric nurse might be a more accurate statement.
I mean it should be first priority for genuine paranoia.
Paranoid people probably aren't going to be able to build a bond of trust with anyone, and that's kinda integral to talk therapy actually working, and not being a giant waste of time and resources.
Some people don't know the difference between seeing an actual prescriber (that can deal with biochemical issues the fastest), and a therapist who actually can only make observations and recommendations. Unless your therapist is also a clinical psychologist, they can't prescribe shit. They can only teach you coping skills.
So first line of attack with serious mental illness is to see a prescribing doctor, and then therapist after that.

Ive been having this same issue to the extent that im about to just not watch another models while im live i know for a fact a couple models were in my room without the number showing them are there name represented i assumed a different account are anonymous. Somthing fishy is going on for sure. Most will not awnser me when I ask are u in the the room but will awnser everything else shit is driving me crazy.

Why sit in a password protected stream, while chatting with a model on a public stream, when you could just unplug your webcam and be free?
That’s what I was wondering, too.
If you don’t want people watching, why broadcast at all? If you’re broadcast for a select audience (password only), then why are you dividing your attention between that audience and watching other models?
Ultimately it’s none of my business. I’m just trying to understand what you’re trying to accomplish.
