I chose my original cam name because it's much closer to my real name, originally it was Isabella de Langlais, whichis a french surname meaning "the englishman", I felt it was fitting. My real surname is european and as I love my real name I felt weird the idea of having an english name at the time so picked something similar sounding. The full name didn't fit on my MFC name so I shortened it. When I started camming I also didn't really take it seriously or know much about it. I didn't spend long thinking about it and had very little idea of safety. I didn't think it was that big a world when I signed up so I just picked a quick easy name and that was it.

Upon realising that camworld was a lot bigger I felt it was too late to change my name, I didn't like that it was shortened and wanted a fuller name. I could only have fit a 4-5 word in next to Isabella so I went through several names that sounded good with it, tested them with a few regulars and landed on Snow. I do get game of thrones references which I don't mind too much as game of thrones is cool and it starts conversation, but I didn't pick the name intentionally for that reason. Anyways I love the name and much prefer the way it sounds to what I had before. After changing the name my camming career took off a bit before I quit so I have good memories with the new name.

My username begin with being on the Playboy Forum and PlayboyLive. I first choose dydude because I didn't know what to call myself. So I used the initials of my Mafia Wars character's name. of course the first name is Don. :)

Soon after I got on the beta site PlayboyLive, the model Havoc asked me for my first name. I told her and she said, "Hmmm, that's a nice name. I'm going to call you Dude." So I changed my name to HavocsDude and kept it on that site for a long time until the account got hacked. Till this day, she calls me Dudey.

After looking for PlayboyMegan for months on MFC, I saw her profile but could never figured out when she was online and I didn't know about MFC mail to ask. lol. When the time came where I could change my name, I changed it to MegansDude and became a major tipper in her name. I had to live up to such a name.

For awhile I begin changing my username on occasion to honor a particular model I was in the room at the time. I changed the name back to MegansDude afterwards.

There's one model I changed my name to that didn't work out. I did learn a lot from her though and my confidence was built up. I won't mention her name here though. It's complicated. It was earlier this year. :D

When I deleted my account, I went out with StephsBoyToy because she is just an awesome lady. What else can I say? :)

I've been through many name changes that I finally have settled down with DudeExtreme. Extreme because I always want to do my best and excel in everything I do whether it's on MFC or not. I think I've finally found the right name but it's been a long journey. Right now I'm going to a gym daily and am under a strict weight lost program. I'm attaching Extreme at the end to a username on instagram as well. Sometimes I wonder if I should have it as DudeXtreme. lol

Names are extremely powerful to me and it had a major impact in my mind every time I changed my name even when it was temporary.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer meets Supernatural. Plus I live in an ouber religious state, so it seemed fitting.

Just trial and error in my case. I had a few clever thought out names to use, but quickly found that they already existed on MFC, so I finally settled on WickedTouch after about 7 or 8 attempts. After 4 and a half years on MFC I have never changed it... so its always been WickedTouch since day one.

Well, my original user-name when I first came here and to MFC to start reading up on the industry was goat-tit. I needed to start off with a completely blank slate so even though I only wanted a temporary name until I decided on something to use for camming, using any of my usual monikers would have probably allowed people to back-trace me to interractions on other forums saying things I don't want to be associated with my camming persona. Goat-tit came from a friend. I asked "Hey I'm kinda considering making a nsfw Tumblr and drawing Draenei porn but I can't think of a name." and he responded with "goat tit". It was a brand new name and not something that anyone sane would want to google so I decided to use it as my temp name.

(for the non-WoW people, Draenei are a playable race that are often referred to as "space goats")

For a name, I wanted to choose a fake name like everyone else, but not quite for privacy reasons. One of my influences, Reverend Arielle, does use her real first name and has been in the adult industry for years. I'm pretty apathetic to being found out since I don't actually have parents to shun me and can't go to college to get any sort of career where this could backfire. However, I was subject to a profuse amount of bullying in grade school so even hearing my full name sends chills down my spine, and my real name is just very bland and unattractive. Moreso than all of that, in person I'm quiet and reclusive- basically the polar opposite of what a cam girl should be, but I'm also a great actor so having a fake name would allow me to create a character to play on cam.

I'm half Manx, with parts English and Russian. Originally, I was going to go with a Gaelic name, but quickly reconsidered because anyone who knows Gaelic knows how ridiculous the pronunciation is (like I know a girl named Aoife, which is pronounced ee-fuh) so having a name that <1% of my customers would be able to pronounce correctly was a terrible idea.

I decided hey, since the Russian blood was from the part of my family that was never around so I never got to embrace it, why not take that opportunity now? I love the language, the architecture, and the history more than English or Celtic so why not?

My two favourite non-cliche Slavic names are Kseniya and Dunya, but the latter just doesn't sound pretty to everyone and people might misinterpret it as a shortened way of saying "doin' ya" which... no. Kseniya is the Russian version of the Greek "Xenia" meaning hospitality, isn't that what camgirls provide? Petrov was just a surname I chose that was short, sweet, and simple enough to use, unlike some Russian surnames which are miles too long for an English-speaker to pronounce.

Next step was creating a "brand name" using Kseniya Petrov. The colloquial of Kseniya is Oksana, which I shorted to Sana, which turned into Sena (which just sounded prettier). Sena was too simple and taken pretty much everywhere, and I wanted something that had unique results on Google. "SenaSinner" was a consideration but it sounded way too try-hard, made me sound like some hardcore leatherbound dominatrix, and I didn't want the religious associations to turn anyone away. It took about a week to think of something new, but one day I was reminded of my favourite childhood book, Stellaluna, and thus "SenaLuna" was born.

Oh, and my Tumblr was changed from goat-tit to vainjerkpoets and I registered on Twitter and other social media with that since SenaLuna was taken on some of them and I wanted a name with more character on those. "Vain jerk poets" is just an anagram of Ksenija Petrov. J can be used in place of Y when transliterating Slavic languages, but I use Kseniya primarily because English speakers might pronounce the J like and English J.

Tl;dr my adult work name is Russian and related to a children's book because I'm classy.

My only worry now is that people will expect me to have an accent and speak fluent Russian rather than the partial I picked up from growing up in a largely Russian Philly suburb, heh. :?

I have Swedish roots, and Elsalil Stiller is intended to represent that. It's based off of the first name of the main character of a film called Herr Arnes Pengar (Treasure of Arne), which was directed by Mauritz Stiller. The film is from 1919.

A bunch of Scottish Mercenaries travel to Sweden and attack a family, killing everyone but Elsalil, who hides in a closet, but she is able to witness her younger sister being strangled by one of the mercenaries through a crack in the door. She cannot see his face. After the mercenaries steal everything, Elsalil runs away to the next town over and takes up a job in the local tavern.

The mercenaries come to this new town, claiming to be royalty. They cannot leave and head back to Scotland because their ship is stuck in the ice, so they decide to stay. Elsalil ends up falling in love with the man who murdered her sister. She eventually realizes, as the whole town does, that her lover is the one responsible for the murder of her entire family, but she loves him and rushes back to him before the angry townsfolk can get their justice on him. As she and her lover exit his hideout, she blocks his body and the townsfolk end up spearing her to death.

The ending is the most beautiful scene I've ever seen on film. It's Elsalil's funeral procession, everyone dressed in black against a flat, white, frozen background.

It's very Swedish.

I love to practice Swedish in chat, so I like my name to help make it clear that I speak Swedish. Also, I wanted a "normal" user name, not anything like "HotXXXtittiesOrgasm." I didn't think that would feel very personal.

My MFC name was Divalia. Divalia is the celebration of the Roman goddess Angerona, protectorate of the secret name of Rome who relieved men from pain and sorrow. Ultimately, I liked Angerona and didn't want to hear "ayy bb y u so angry? lol" so I chose the name of her festival. I fell in love with being called Div, and my members always made puns on my name by putting "div" where it didn't belong. Radioacdiv, divastation, festdival, etc.

Between the puns of my regs and my love of the Elder Scrolls series (where dovahkiin comes from), I jumped on my current name for fun and I haven't changed it back since. c:

I've always wondered how to pronounce your name. I always said it like Bocce ball.... but now I know!

I was a pretty hard partier in college and I picked up the moniker "Guru of the weed" my Sophomore year because I always had weed. Which was a mouthful for a bunch of stoned 18-19 year olds. It morphed into someone calling me "Bodisha" one night when a bunch of us were stoned, presumably because he thought it sounded like the name of some sort of Hindu god. It stuck the way dumb shit sticks with a bunch of stoned teenagers and I became "Bodisha... Guru of the weed". Fast forward 8-9 years to 1994-1995 when I got my first AOL account, I was stuck for what to call myself. Lacking any sort of creativity, I remembered my college nickname and my online persona has been Bodisha ever since.

No worries, I'd say about 95% of models had the same problem. :)

I normally get country music jokes, but I somewhat refuse to acknowledge mountain-face Hank.

I've always been the black sheep of my family, and never really fit in anywhere actually, so my mom started calling me a black rose since I don't belong. Har har, thanks mom. When I decided to make this my career, BJ and I were sitting at the table with my parents and my mom said, "Rose Black sounds good and slutty."

After this long, it's really fitting. Black roses aren't natural and neither am I. Makes sense to me.

Hills is in the username I use for everything else but it doesn't sound sexy or cute or anything. Then I realized Lovely Hills could be a play on me being part of IBTC

Pubic hair.

Though people usually think that I'm really into physics (I go by DeltaV on most sites).

Came up with Aubree because it's a name I've adored most of my life. The double "e" at the end is similar to my real name :thumbleft:
Kae (which is what my surname is now) because I tend to "k" people a lot (lol judge me) and couldn't think of another way to spell it!
Moore (which was my previous surname) was suggested because of the pun (which has actually been made, to my surprise) "moore aubree!! hehe" >__> lmao.

I just want to remind everyone not to put distinguishable info about their REAL names on here (or anywhere on the internet). If your name is extremely unique, don't tell everyone hints about it. Even though most of the users on ACF seem logical or non-creepy (for lack of a better word), those are just the ones we KNOW who post often. Think about all the thousands of other viewers who don't post or haven't made an account.

Be careful. Don't give out any information that could potentially put you or your family/friends in danger.

To get this thread back on track:

Iris was too few characters, so I went with I_Am_Iris. Iris because my tattoo is Iris from the GooGooDolls (or was the tattoo because my name is Iris? ... dun dun DUNNNNNN).

I don't like my name much in real life, so I've thought of different names before. The name Maya (Hindu) means illusion and is linked to the goddess Durga. I like names that start with an "A," so Amaya it is. (Papaya is a fruit. It rhymes. I love fruit.)

Thus, Hindus believe that goddess Durga protects her devotees from the evils of the world and at the same time removes their miseries. Like Shiva, Mother Durga is also referred to as "Triyambake" meaning the three eyed Goddess. The left eye represents desire (the moon), the right eye represents action (the sun), and the central eye knowledge (fire). She is the embodiement of purity, knowledge, truth and self-realization. The highest form of truth present in any being or Jiva is known as "Aatman" or supreme consciousness. This supreme consciousness or the absolute soul is infinite, birthless, deathless, beyond time and space, and beyond the law of causation. Goddess Durga is the inherent dynamic energy through which this supreme consciousness manifests itself.

There was also a lady I saw on a documentary film about tantra that also encouraged me to look up the name "Maya." She was older, beautiful, a goddess, and very sexually open. I really admired her. She was/is a tantric practitioner.

Reading your post I lost track of time imagining all the captions for what your dog is thinking in your avatar gif.

I chose my name based on what I wanted my shows to be like. I wanted to do a lot of burlesque, strip tease, and banter with beautiful costumes so "Rose Lee" is after Gypsy Rose Lee. I also wanted my room to be really happy, energetic, and playful, so "Harley" is after Harley Quinn.

I do have a lot of members asking me if I own or ride a motorcycle or some think that I'm going to be a biker chick, but it doesn't bother me and I never get the feeling they're disappointed when I tell them I don't/haven't. Truth be told, I've never even sat on a running motorcycle and I'd probably be scared to death to ride one even with someone else driving. Unless it was a really old one with a side car. Then I'd be all over that! :-D

I chose my name from one of my favorite guilty pleasure books, Graceling. I always loved the main character and saw lots of parallels between us (her name's Katza). I wanted to add a last name to it, but I just haven't found one that suits me.
Maybe one day there will be another piece to my personas name.

I am curvy

I am a redhead

I am not creative

I love naming things, so anytime I have to create a user name, I tend to make up a new one rather than re-use one from elsewhere. If I had realized how connected the forum is to the MFC community (which I guess should have been obvious), I might have used my MFC name, but I didn't so I made a new one as usual. I think I was trying to come up with something a little longer than most names, so it wouldn't be as likely to be taken already. I just bounced around quotes and sayings that are stuck in my head until this one popped out. As those of you who recognize my avatar will know, it comes from a quote from Bill Murray's character in Caddyshack: "Just a harmless squirrel, not a plastic explosive or anything." I always loved that quote because out of context, it's just super bizarre-sounding.
