I guess it depends why the person is crying. Are they crying from happiness of making out with the object of their desire? Or are they crying because they feel uncomfortable and don't want to be doing this?

In any case, if I'm making out with someone and he starts crying, I would stop immediately and ask him if he was alright.

I've cried a few times with my current partner mainly because I'm just so happy and grateful he's here. We were long distance for 9 months so it can be overwhelming (even after living together for 2 years now) that he's here and I've been so happy.

I'm the same way! I often get very emotional while making out and can start to cry from being so thankful that the person exists. I would be super into it if my kissing partner also became emotional during.

I've actually never made out with anyone.

likewise, That's probably the reason why I would cry... while the guy will be cheering aftermath. I would be crying, unless we were married, then i would have a smile.... because if he dares to leave me, I'll quote from a movie I just watched,... " I WANT half Eddie...!!!"

It does seem a bit odd, but I'd imagine a lot of folks cry during their wedding when they kiss their bride/groom. :) Very emotional, life-changing stuff right there.

Honestly if my bf started crying while making out with me I would probably start tearing up too. Theres just something so raw about a person letting go like that and letting their emotions out. It shows a lot of vulnerability that most people are way to scared to show.

But like said above dont fake it. Lol

I have a strong feeling that @Guy is a serious irresistible sensitive heartbreaker in the making.

I have a strong feeling that Guy spends too much time on the computer/phone, and not enough time trying to make connections with real people.

*Note: for all you new people here, several forum members have tried to advise him of this through the years

Personally, if you chase connection you may find it...the reverse is also true. Crying due to vulnerability is common, then again crying due to humour is also common....both are awesome experiences.
Hope this answers your question. I would add that making out alone may be pushing the boundary when it comes to anything too intense (teens excepted).

I wouldn't say it's "normal" but sure it can happen. You may cry because you are incredibly happy or, say, because you have to part from your SO for a long time.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, I feel like, as I grow older, the less emotional I get. I don't know exactly why, maybe it's just me becoming some sort of cynical asshole over time.

It’s not normal as in common. I’ve never had it happen (either myself or the person I was kissing) and tbh it would freak me out, unless we’d just been reunited after months or something. But crying during an average makeout session would make me a bit uncomfortable.

Not normal at all my dude. Sometimes being a little weird is a good thing. This is not that sometimes. This would be an example of when keeping it weird goes wrong. Avoid crying at all costs.

I have never experienced this personally.

On another note, I've decided to launch a new line of t-shirts. Simple but high quality white tees with my favorite of Guy's threads printed on them in black.
So far my spring lineup will include:
Is it normal to cry when you make out with someone?
Do you like to have romantic sex?
Have you ever subscribed to a paid porn site?
Whats your favorite energy drink?

I think these will make great conversation starters and bold fashion statements on the street. Shop soon at http://GuysThreads.com

Would you cry if someone kissed you? (Just being an ass here... haha)

Nah, just politely explain that kissing feels weird and I'm not a fan of it, but if they wanna bite my neck, go nuts, and the more marks I get, the better.

I think it's subjective in the sense that it depends on context and the headspace of the participant (s). I've cried a few times while making out before in different senarios. It was always from overwhelming thoughts and feelings rushing my head, and honestly was such a spontaneous reaction that it surprised me. Not all crying is sad! Sometimes it's just your body and mind responding to a very good release. Crying in itself can be viewed as a release of feelings and energy. I would classify it pretty "normal" when viewed within that type of context ; passion, energy, happiness and release.

I've never cried just from kissing, but I've broken in fits of giggles a few times. I blame sensory overload. Humans are weird. Anything can happen when we smash our faces together.
