Ladies and gentlemen, I am to take a leave of absence. I have no insight as to how long it will last, nor if I will be able to return.
After being together 8 years, married for 4 years, my wife is leaving me. She is clearing her mind today and asked me to launder her clothes while she's gone. She will be staying with her parents. It is not yet known if she will be taking our 3yo son with her or not.
I am going to try and save the marriage to the best of my ability and beyond. I never see anything in life as a failure, only an inspiring opportunity to improve a situation. Seems I'm truly living in my father's footsteps, as the ages of those involved and the situations are hauntingly similar.
I will say nothing more on the matter.
If this is to be my last correspondence, know that I appreciate everyone on this forum, be it friend or foe, and the moments we shared together. I thank the wonderful women whom I'm acquainted myself with over several months I've been a member of MFC. I thank the gentlemen for good humor and camaraderie in celebrating womanhood with me. Always be yourself, be true to your creed, and live every minute as if the reaper's arm lay across your shoulder.
Gentlemen, a firm handshake to all.
Ladies, a soft kiss on your cheek. Stay beautiful, as always.
Sincerely,
Adam
