Hi,

below regarding chaturbate.

Tipper here that has noticed alot of strange occurrences over the years.
i dont know how exactly but i believe models/apps have some sort of malicious monitoring tools which is getting me concerned

signs i have noticed are:
-Excessive screen lag/buffering, also weirdly happens when im trying to purchase tokens during a show (eg putting in payment details)
-Followed across multiple rooms by cammers who really have no business being there, the moment i enter a room they tag on.
-despite setting a password on my profile and banning all regions some people are still able to follow and message me.
-random screen bufferings which seems purposeful

It could be nothing but with the forum threads ive seen about malicious cb apps im starting to get concerned something criminal is going on

This seems to happen mainly with models that are with studios.

made me really conscious about browsing security to the point where i just regularly delete my accounts and create new ones.

also something really fishy about the follow functionality, im almost certain models have a way to see your token balance and what rooms you are currently in. and somehow if you follow them it gives them some sort of tracking ability.

someone posted here a script to stop these apparent malicious acts, i tried it out simply out of curiosity and based on models reactions im certain something fishy is going on.

any tippers / models got any suggestions to counteract this?

thanks in advance!

Screen lag/buffering nothing to do with anything

Followed across multiple rooms based on you just entering, no way for them to do that.

There is ways they can still follow, tip, do you yes that's true

They can't see what room you are in, if you tip they may be able to find you from a certain website that I will not name.

But I will add that we know if you have more or less tokens than we do, but not a specific amount. It really is Paranoia when no one is out to get you.

Most of the people who post this crap here seem really tech-ignorant/naive. There is no profit in exploiting a cam viewer, the entire industry would collapse.

Is it ludicrous conspiracy shit week here and I just missed the announcement?
Perhaps it's yet another layer to Main Character Syndrome.

Honestly, it's fucking exhausting.

Malicious apps are one thing and are always designed by men who are trying to control the model. It's not something she knows about or even thinks is possible because hey this app is cute and simple, let's use it. She's not delving into code.

Models tend to not deep dive on guys....why? Because we don't care and because we don't want the same done to us. It's just paranoia on a level I've never seen and it seems like when one guy bites on that bone others feel justified in manifesting the same paranoia about why they see the same names in rooms they visit when they have niche fetishes like #analftm #batmancosplay #ahegaofindom (made up examples but you get the point).

It's the fact that they think that the only possible explanation for anyone knowing what they get up to is malware/spying through their camera/penetrating their tinfoil wallpaper.

If I know your username and which site you are on, I'm pretty sure I could very quickly find out which models you've visited and how much you've tipped them in the past month. I'm not interested in doing that but if I wanted to, I easily could using information freely available on a public search or publicly accessible websites.

And I'm not exactly James Bond.

It's Ocam's Razor. The simplest explanation is usually the right explanation.

I honestly don't know why CB doesn't sue the fuck out of whoever is doing that, btw. But I'm betting it's offshore.

it's never because majority of men/camsite users are So predictable lol

Most likely paranoid (and this happens a lot with a lot of people) caused by the following :
Some models , most studio's , are able to see when a user tips , not only you but all tips
At that moment they send an automated DM message to get you to their room.
You think they are in the same room as you are but they are not , DM is send in your own chat c.q. profile.
They don't follow you , it's just some annoying external bot sending DM
All other things you notice have nothing to do with it.

and i would really like to know how they do it (see when a user tips)
I know there is a site that's also logging tips so they do it too
And i have not found any API that sends that info.

yeah sorry lol

I'll add the disclaimer that a lot of you who are active in threads here are beyond the "norm" as far as my statement goes
