Messages Disappear when you type

I seem to experience this a lot, and I have no idea if it's a "me" thing or a site thing. Does it ever happen to anyone else? It has happened for a very long time, not suddenly.
usually in private Message is where I notice it - and it definitely isn't because of blocked words.

I will literally be typing in the text input field and then suddenly the WHOLE message vanishes, it's deleted. If I hit ctrl+z it doesn't undo anything, it's just gone.
It's a frustrating thing especially when you're having a conversation with the model and you have to retype the whole thing.

Has anyone else experienced it?
I am unsure if it does it on mobile, I don't use that much to notice.

This is definitely not expected behavior. I am curious to hear:

• Does the PM window visibly refresh when it happens?
• Does it happen in every room or only with certain models?
• Does it occur only with certain browsers?
• Does it happen in public chat, or only in PMs?
• Have you recently cleared your cache and cookies?

1) Nothing refreshes, the message literally just deletes itself.
2) It's in many rooms, not one specific.
3) I only use Chrome, I have not tested any other because I do not use any other.
4) I mostly speak in PM so only notice it there, I can't remember it in public but I will try and keep an eye on that and let you know.
5) I have a new PC and it was doing it on both my old and new pc

Ok interesting, it is possible that you are encountering a bug in our system. In which case, please reach out to our Support team to report it (scroll to Support & FAQ at the bottom of your page, and then Submit a Support Ticket). Be sure to let them know all this information you mentioned to me as well.

I think its a glitch because my husband had this happen to him as well when sending messages to our viewers. I'd report it to Stripchat's technical team.

I don't want to give guys too much credit because I know too many who hunt and peck on a keyboard but it could be that you guys are typing too fast and the system is trying to figure out if you're a bot or not.

Yes, or when you hit enter and then start typing again, the message doesn't send and the next few words you have typed end up at the end of the other message, but then when they send, it's not there.

I definitely think this is what it is sometimes, especially with what I mentioned above, I hit enter to send then type instantly instead of waiting 1 second.
But the initial "vanishing messages" I don't think is caused by this. It can either be a long message i am typing fast, or a long message i am trying to "think" of (so not typing fast), or what happened earlier, I literally typed "Hello, good afternoon" and then it vanished

Based on others saying they also experienced something similar to you, it's probably not the extension, but it's worth disabling the extension next time you're online, to rule it out.

The biggest problem is the fact it's very random, nothing that I have done/seen seems to have an obvious pattern. Support asked me for a screenshot... not quite sure how I can provide a screenshot for help, showing a blank message box I will have to try record my screen (just the text/pm area, not the model live stream obviously) and then when it happens i can clip and send it.

This is quite honestly typical.
All day I have been trying to grab a recording of the chat, and all day it did not happen, then I turn the recording off, get food, come back and say a hello to a model who just came online, forgot to click record - and low and behold what the hell happened?
