I said this in another thread not expecting discussion, since it was the Daily Thoughts thread, but...

The drama is all members' fault. It's so dumb. I trashed another member's attitude without naming him, but saying in whose room he was. This is taken as trashing HER. When I did not. Wouldn't even have known, but the model I was watching was perving in her room, and told me someone was trashing ME. Which is funny, as she didn't mention how that guy was trashing her because she had just moved up a rank over his model (and his model had rage quit, so there was no moderation happening, which my model had asked why she'd do that, but he took that as an attack on his model.). Just about the trashing of me. Heh. But she has a thing for protecting us more than herself. Least he could have done is actually ask me what I meant. And not lie to his fave model by mfcmailing what he thinks I said about her to her. I keep PMs open for that, and in case idiots like to PM me shit for telling them to quit begging, haha.

So, yeah, that is what causes drama. Petty bullshit. And I'm not sure it's not understanding intentions, so much as intentionally misreading them, really. And lying to your favorite model? pffft. I mean, sure, I lied to her about getting her a present or something like that, you know, for surprise time. But lying about token amounts another model has gotten or about what another model or member has said about her or anything like that? Hell no.

And, ok, talking about it kind of makes me angry again. Oopsie. lol.

Tangential to this, I guess, more members and models should take a cue from KittyWilde's Kitty Kult, who under her direction attacked random rooms with yellow token walls. Surprising the hell out of models and members alike. And not even the tokens aspect. Just... You know.. Be Nicer and Don't Be A Douche.

Speaking of which, is it douchey to paste those PMs telling me off for telling people to not beg into main chat? heh. It's surprising how many people called me a faggot for telling them to quit demanding she take off her leather corset she just spent 45 minutes getting into before getting online. Think it depends on the lady. I've seen ladies show appreciation for any tip and will give attention to anyone they deem worthy and interesting (I think im walking talking living proof of that- or I'm doing something right at least) while having those 'sugar daddies' that tip the most and the most often, yet I also have witnessed how some other girls can act on the days the sugar daddy isn't around and they aren't being tipped as much or as often as they are used to and can come off like trying to guilt trip others to tip.

I have seen this as well and it is so sad that the girls resort to that when the sugar daddies are not there.

Nah I think that's called "exaggeration" :liar: , I'm giving some of you girls scratching posts for next christmas, might stop you clawing at each other.

I saw her pull in about 8k+ tonight in 2 hours. Most of that was from people I've never seen before. I tipped Julia offline more than once in the past before she was even trying for mfc, her regulars usually aren't tipping for shows. Why not just wish her well and get on with life.. :roll:

i'm not being catty, i would just find it highly bizarre that someone holding the #1 slot on MFC would take that long to make a measly $100 when it's common knowledge that it takes a wholeeee lot more than that daily to be ranked that high.

It's because there's too much drama involved in being in the top 20, especially the top 3-5. It takes the fun out of MFC, really.

I'd like to add to this by saying I understand completely where Jebbaz is coming from. Simply being a friend of a model pushing for a top 20 spot can pull you into random drama. It's quite off-putting. On top of all that, a lot of us actually care on some level for the model we spend so much time hanging out with so seeing them stressed, frustrated, or just disappointed even for just a few moments when things aren't going well isn't a very fun thing either. And if anyone wants to give me any "she shouldn't bring her stress, frustration, or disappointment on camera" bullshit I'll ask you to stop being a fucking robot and realize we're all human and have moments where we don't do things the way we know we should.

Well, with 3 hours to go, it looks like Avery's going to win it for this month. However, I promise you that we'll never see her in the top 20 ever again after tonight. I've been guest perving on both Zoey and Avery for the last hour or 2 and Zoey's had so many tips tonight while Avery keeps getting a little bit here and a little bit there... oh, and there was that anonymous tip for 10,000.

Seriously, other than that 10k tip, I haven't seen one for more than 150 in Avery's room. Meanwhile, Zoey's getting all kinds of tips, including a few 1k's and a 1500. Zoey's more deserving of winning, but as we all know; the most deserving and hardest working girls don't always win Miss MFC.

Well, I've come up with a new award: Miss MyFreeCams, Non-Fraud Division. It goes to models who actually worked hard enough to win Miss MFC, but was beaten out by a model who was carried to the official title by her studio or by promising things that she never delivered.

If a model who actually worked her ass off to get to #1 succeeds in winning Miss MFC, then this award is vacant for the month. That's why I can't give it to CandieCane for July and November 2010 since she won Miss MFC both months.

I only have 2 winners of this title so far. Others can be added after the fact by mutual agreement of the members here.

I support hard work. Zoey has worked almost every day this month often twice a day trying to do things to keep it fresh and creative and fun through out. From the sounds of it Avery has just been doing the same exact thing she would be doing if she wasn't in the running for miss MFC where some rich dudes got together decided this month was her month. If this lady spent as much time and worked as hard as Zoey then I would have nothing to say but thats not the case and so im playing favorites.

I can't knock the rich guys because if I had the money I'd be doing the same thing for the girls I liked, but like I said I support hard work over making more money when offline. I think its also very telling when I have seen countless people tip hours on end over a handful of heavy spenders.

Jupiter, first of all; if she doesn't have a studio then i'm the Queen of France. Every model that has been with Avery tonight claim to be from different places on their profiles when it's obvious that they're all from the same place (almost definitely Romania). A model who's never been top 20 doesn't just have 6 other model friends all of a sudden like that without some outside support. Well, 5 models and someone who isn't a model (which is against the rules, BTW. Everyone who appears on MFC cams MUST have signed with MFC ahead of time).

Also, a studio doesn't necessarily mean everyone's working in the same place. She could have a guy who signed her up to the site and acts has her manager or agent.

2nd, Avery's room has been the most dead I've ever seen a top MFC model's room in the 14 months I've been a member. There was more than one occasion where the girls there was just talking to each other and not even paying attention to the chat. And that screen cap Amber posted... it wasn't the 1st time that Avery was away from the computer for a prolonged period of time. I think every girl there has sat in front of that computer for some period of time while Avery was doing something else.

3rd, it's not about my choice. I've never been to Zoey's room. Never given her tokens. I haven't had a pick in this contest until tonight.

Finally, be honest with yourself. Wouldn't you feel better knowing your model got to the top on the backs of many people over just 3-5 members? Look at her reactions to the tips tonight/this morning. A tip of 10k or 50k is getting her all excited. A tip of 10 or 100? She looks like she'd rather be getting a root canal.

Meanwhile Zoey is genuinely appreciative and surprised to some level of all the tips she's gotten tonight. Has Avery shown even 1/10th of that gratitude? If she has, I sure as hell haven't seen it.

Could I be wrong about something fishy going on? Yeah, I could. It wouldn't be the 1st time I was wrong on something and it won't be the last time either. The fact is that Avery's finishing on top doesn't past the smell test. It doesn't feel right and I stand by my belief that she'll never be in the top 20 again.

She left her studio about a year ago and went independent. Those girls there tonight (apart from 2 who I think aren't models) were girls who worked in her old studio.

Yeah they're from romania. It's not a secret, they put different shit on there for different reasons - mostly as a joke. Avery used to have her location as Somalia for months lol. Every other day some retard comes in and announces "You're NOT from the dominican republic!" it's priceless.

If you say her room was dead - fine I guess, personally I can't wait til it's about 100x more dead. Mostly tonight, it felt like her and her regulars trying to deal with a horde of blue beggars and assholes from the "other" room coming in and talking shit.

She probably won't be in the top 20 again, while her and her regulars are happy she had a successful month we'll not be sad to see the back of the horde of fuckwits who've been around most of february. She doesn't intend to compete in march. She never intended to.

3-5 tippers is exaggerating. Also, I guess it's down to a matter of perception because when I saw Julia get tipped 10 tokens from Abnormal tonight and another couple times 50 here 100 there, she said thankyou, honestly, every time. No, she didnt act like she won the fucking lottery I guess. I've tipped her 25 (yes a whopping 25) offline and she's thanked me like 2 days later when I saw her.

The most tokens wins, it's the name of the game.
