Need help with Shockspot

Hi everyone,

Real stupid from me ........

I use the wrong ac adapter to power our "shockspot"
she is just 3 month old.......

Now both printboard are burned.....

I already spoke to several company's and shockspot.net about the question if we can receive new printboards.
They are not about the service...... So I just need to buy a complete new one......

I'm really sad about this.....
a friend of mine is a mechanical engineer, and he can fix the shockspot, only we need to know the specs from the pc-board because they burned both and we can not see the specs anymore

Can please someone who owns a shockspot sent us the specs from the shockspot pc boards so we can fix it by us self.....or show us some pictures...

Im confused that the con ppl any wont fix it for u though, they've fixed it for me in the past. I killed.it w squirt....

I'm pretty sure they turned down your service call because of how you're wording it(if you worded it like you did here). If you're on the phone asking for board specs and that you have an engineer that would be a red flag. They might believe you are reverse engineering their product. I'm pretty sure if you just said 'it broke can I send it to take a look for me', you would had gotten a complete different response. Sometimes you can be too smart for your own good.

Doesn't the power supply have like a proprietary connector?

It's worth calling your credit card company to check if they cover damage.

If you can make a picture that's enough , because I'm from a Island in the Caribbean its a high cost for me to sent it back for repair.......

I just checked and there's actually no writing on either of the two parts in your picture, nor anything anywhere else on the machine except logos etc.

You may need to ship it :/
