Re: AmberCutie you are a joke

My favorite is Grasshopper Pie (mint chocolate chip ice cream on a oreo cookie crust!)

I love pumpkin, and pecan. Apple pie on occasion. Sometimes cheesecake.

I think it's praline ice cream? I know it has something crunchy and caramel... throw that on top of pecan pie! mmm

Have you ever had 'Dirt' pie? It combines crumbled Oreos, gummy worms, and pudding (I like using pistachio) into this big delicious mess of no-bake goodness. I like to serve it in a clean flowerpot with plastic flowers stuck in it, it's one of my signature dishes. Going to make one for Easter this year!

It's kind of like this, only with a bigger flowerpot and lots more flowers stuck in the top. Looks disgusting, tastes amazing! :-D

I forgot about peach pie! Warm, just out of the oven, made with fresh GA peaches and served with some nice, cold milk while sitting in a front porch rocker. Is there anything better?

For the Game of Thrones Chow Down Tonight...

That's right got to have some NOM NOM NOM's while watching last season and for the new one!

I am doing hot air popcorn with salt pepper and some hot sauce...give it a bit of a bump!

I am amped on this Nutella talk so I am going to get some strawberries and gush some of that on them.

I don't want to go with the same old, same old. potato chips and Doritos chips.

If anyone has some simple but NOMMABLE snacks would love to here them!!!

The nerd herd will be coming to my place so I'm a guessing about 5-6 others who will want to nom it up as well.

... and now WHAT THE HELL, GEMMA? That's just EVIL! NO UPPING THE ANTE!!!!

Food porn can be even more potent than actual porn sometimes, eh Weasel? :-D

Cooking (and eating!) delicious food is one of my favorite off-cam activities. There's nothing like taking a bunch of seemingly random ingredients and making something that not only fills up your stomach, but also creates memories and spreads happiness and the feeling of being 'home'. :)

... can't argue with that. Especially as I just finished off the pizza I bought yesterday. While watching Farscape. Yeah. That's how Weasels roll.

If all of the delicious food porn in this thread is killing you but you don't want to eat anything TOO unhealthy, check out this delicious No-Bake Triple-Chocolate Pumpkin pie. It's free of all major allergens and not too darn bad for you. Plus, c'mon, look at it...

Not to be a downer but I had to throw out over 30 gallons of hand shelled pecans early last fall after I found my freezer stopped working sometime during the summer. :angry4:

Pecans are so expensive, that sucks big time.

A simple stromboli recipe. Take a loaf of italian bread and cut it in half lengthwise. Spread pizza sauce on both halves. Put crumbled cooked sausage (preferably Italian) on bottom half of loaf. Cover top half of loaf with Mozzarella cheese. Cook under broiler until cheese is slightly browned. Place halves together and cut into sandwiches and enjoy. Good for groups of friends. :hello2:

Sorry I wasn't specific, use an eighteen inch long loaf of Italian bread.
