Coincidence? I think not. I ADORE Stephen Colbert , and last summer I’d even got tickets for a friend and I to attend a live taping (in the old Ed Sullivan Theater). It was an awesome, first time experience, and I’m trying to get tickets again to see a taping one last time (preferably this August) before his show comes to an end next year.

But they're going to see if Ghislaine wants to testify? Like I'm not entirely sure what they're playing at with that move in particular, but I knew they'd screw up the request, just needed to hear it from the judge themselves. The new conspiracy is the Judge is a Biden judge so it's to protect Clinton. I just can't even with these fucking people anymore.

I do love how worked up he's gotten over constant questions about Epstein and has begun combining ALL of his old conspiracy ramblings into one massive conspiracy now centered around Biden and Obama and their people wrote the same Epstein files that trump campaigned on exposing all those years ago.

And the statements about treason, committees to investigate the Jan 6 and Russian “hoax” committees. And bullying execs into silencing late night tv hosts who are critical. And yelling about oil-storing salt caves that were drained for an election.

Mastercard is now forcing platforms to remove adult content. Steam started culling adult games a week or so ago, and now itch.io has apparently been coerced into nuking its adult categories.

The story is that it's happening because some shitty conservative "feminist" group has been making noise about porn corrupting the yoothes, but that feels like a very flimsy front.

It's really not too hard to see the connection between this action, and other actions aimed at denying marginalized groups a livelihood, especially considering how current social movements tend to categorize any and all frank expressions by minorities, especially lgbtqia+++ content, as "obscene".

I'm sure it goes without saying around these parts that sex work is an evergreen industry, and people will find ways to pay for their porn, with or without Mastercard. But this multi-pronged effort to shut people down for doing legal work, and making legal content, there's no other way to put it -- this shit's fucked.
