Not quite camming related but I'm sure someone here will know... What's the deal with videos on Pornhub that say "Free Premium Video"? Is this purely a cosmetic thing or is there a different pay structure for these videos? It confuses me every time I see a video marked this way as it seems like an oxymoron, Pornhub Premium is where they put some content behind a paywall so surely if it's free for everyone to watch then it's not part of Pornhub Premium?
I have not been paying much attention to PH since Modelhub is no longer of use to me, but I used to. They had a program where you can upload clips for people who pay for pornhub premium, which I think is only around 19.99 per month. Those clips that premium members watch get a higher view payout, which I guess is supposed to make content producers want to upload clips to that program. You have to upload quite a few to get any decent money from it (in my experience), and even then I felt like it really wasn't worth it (as a content producer). As a pornhub member, it's an amazing screaming deal!
It's like XXVideos Red program.
At one point I had over 100 of my older clips uploaded to the PH Premium program (the ones that were really needing to be retired), and I think I made a steady $100- $200 per month, but it just still wasn't worth it to me to have all that near-free content out there. However it might be worth it to some, if they have a ton of old retired content. The issue with me is that then people might think your newer content is the same quality. In my case it's a lot better, so I wasn't quite sure it was worth the dual purpose of advertising my paid content at the same time. Hope that made sense. And ever since the payment processor investigation, I went from selling a lot of clips on Modelhub, to selling 0 per month. So I just don't find it as worth it. If they get Modelhub back up and running, then I may change my mind in the future, as I was doing fairly well there. It got to the point for me where I was selling enough full-price clips on Modelhub, that I didn't really need to be having 100s of clips uploaded to the Premium program too.
But of course, now, that's all down the shitter. However, I'm still really happy that unverified PH Users can no longer upload stolen content, so whatever. To me, it's worth the $ loss.
