Question about regular tippers

absolutely not because you never know what is in a person's head and some of those tippers are sick fucks. if i am not interacting with a tipper through social media or the cam room alone, i just dont do the personal thing. i dont give out my phone number or my address to any of my clients because of the safety concern and because you have to seperate your business life from your personal life or else shit gets real fucked up.

Most of my regs I consider my friends. I treat my room as a community instead of just a place I cam though, I don't think I'm the norm.

What do you mean when you ask "on a personal level"? If you mean treating them as friends rather than customers, and interacting on a more intimate level than just a transaction... I think a lot of camgirls do so - to a degree. But many find it easier to keep certain aspects about their life private, for their own sanity, and their own protection.
Since I am a femdom, I don't really communicate with my subs on a personal level. I don't really tell them about my day and I don't ask them about theirs. They are not my friends, and with the relationships I have with my subs, such interaction would be inappropriate and fantasy-ruining. I save the more intimate-personal connections for my friendships with fellow camgirls, and keep things strictly business between me and my pets.
However, if I were to be a camgirl, I would certainly hope that I would connect with others on a personal level. Not giving them my phone number or anything, but getting to know my tippers as more than just a username with tokens and allowing them to see that I am a real girl with many unique qualities. I think that when tippers become friends, the job becomes so much more fun and interesting and a little less like work. So I wish I could do that! But that is just me. Some girls work better operating behind a mask and playing a role, and get uncomfortable with presenting their real self - and that's okay too!

Yes. that's the main thing I look for in a cam girl. If I just want to see sexy things ill watch porn. I want to be friends with them too. I made good friends with a cam girl once and she actually told me her first and last name and the country where she lived so I could send her money directly via Western Union. Because she only got to keep like 15% of my tips, so I expect she made a ton of money off me keeping 100%. So yes it's better for you and your fans if you talk to them like real people

I also think that it depends on what your shows are like. Or how you feel more comfortable. For me it has been really good to take it some personal with the guys. Things like talking about my dogs (not their real names tho) or hw my day was or whatever makes it more enjoyable and intimate. Guys want ur real attention. But i would never ever ever ever give my personal info like phone number or adress or names. It's for the better. Just remember your last psycho boyfriend and you will understand.
