Question regarding support mail

I am psoting this question on behalf of a CB friend of mine, he has signed up here @Martyns27, but is still restricted from questions, he will join in when he is cleared.
His basic question is as follows:
I have sent an email to support. Just a question is the numbers and letters in the bottom left of the email my ticket for support? If so I will wait as there no other links from this email.
(I could not give him the answer)

its an encoded id zendesk uses to match up emails with tickets, i dont know if support reps have the ability to search for that or not as I dont use zendesk.

New users here are not restricted from questions, I just manually approve their posts for a while to make sure they don't post total bullshit, personal information, or spam.

@Martyns27 has not tried to make a single post yet.
