Hi everyone! Am new here and this is my first post.Am not a model yet , just reading as much as I can and preparing myself for my debut on mfc. I know is not recommended to start there for someone who never worked as a cam girl before or even done anything adult.... however I have some experience with videos - have some success as a vlogger and an editor. Really wanted to make a nice nude video to sell on mfc because is something am good at but not sure how to go about it...where do I store the file and how does it work? do you recommend I buy a video from a model and see how it works?Or can someone here help me with advice on how it is done? I know mediafire does not allow adult content.My video would be nothing hardcore but still...any help very appreciated and thank you for the great forum. (I searched the topic but did not find a clear answer on this.)
also do I need to put the link/watermark to my free cams in video? will I get in trouble if I direct someone to a site with a video? how often do I change password?

If you use Projecet Maenad then you create an individual link for each person to download. You also can set a link to expire after a certain amount of time and downloads. I set my links to expire either after 1 download or 2 weeks. Occasionally I have to send someone a new link cause a problem happened but it isn't too difficult. Project Maenad also allows you to put your customer name with the link so you can mark who got what.
I know there is a thread about them in the public as well as models only. So just use the search feature for more info.

Edit to add: Just put a screenshot of the video or a gif on your profile. I put text on my screenshots (video name, run time, and cost). Just have people tip you tokens for the video(whatever price you choose to sell it for) and send them the link in a MFC mail.
(This is what I do and I find it rather easy to keep up with)

When I get new model status I will for sure I know about the extra info there...can't wait! however it is before I get this status that I need to know a lot too - to best use these few hours of fame..Thank you very much for this info!

Oops I meant to say "verified model status"
Also new model status on MFC doesn't start till your first broadcast. And It now last for 7 consecutive days. Not 10 hours anymore. But again you could make an account get everything verified to broadcast then wait a month to start broadcasting. Then you will still get new model status once you start broadcasting.

omg! thank you so much! had no idea! full 7 days is just awesome! so my 7 days would start from the moment of first broadcast? Also did not know I can wait a month - I thought waiting would make me lose the status and I would need to go online at least few days after I get approved.
I think I will get myself verified soon then and then read the other threads here...Thank you Esther!
Is awesome they changed that is the first time I hear it. Every topic I read so far is - new model status very important on mfc and lasts only ten hours...that is awesome surprise.
btw if you or anyone needs any help/info on editing videos - I know a lot and would be happy to help.

Yeah the new model status DOES NOT start running out until you broadcast for the first time. I signed up on MFC and then got model status here and did a ton more research before broadcasting for the first time a month or so later. So there are no worries you've got time to research. (also even when it was the 10 hours it was 10 hours broadcasted. not 10 consecutive hours so even then it was still pretty reasonable...sorta) New Model status is still very important in getting a fan base to stay with you after the status is gone. So good luck!

Thank you! yes I know - is like a momentum - is important to make enough of an impression and also get some tips and secure few fans...I will do my best I really want to succeed on the site. I did vlogging for little money for a while - despite high views ! A chance to make some better money and still be artistic on camera seems such a great idea... Did they change it to 7 days recently? I guess the ten hours also was not that bad - that means three or four days of broadcasting if used wisely.

The 7 days thing has been around for less than a year(I think)
And it's only a default of 7 days. Members(you as a model can not do anything to change this) can go into their settings and change it to I believe up to 90 days. But yeah it's a baseline of 7 days.

I upload all my graphics onto a photo gallery on my profile. Copy the image url. Then I go to Edit Profile and paste the html into the About box.
The html you need it this

<img src="YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" alt="></p> <p> <img src=">

If you want the image to not be next to any other image use this

<p>
<img src="YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" alt="></p> <p> <img src="></p>

Also there are tons of profile help threads on here. Just use the search feature.

<img src="YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" alt="></p> <p> <img src=">
Images can optionally have a description, which is called the "alt text". The example above includes some confusing fragments of html as the alt text ("></p> <p> <img src="). While it's always possible that there's a clever reason for this, I suspect it's a copy/paste mistake that got propagated through more copy/pasting.

A simpler example is
Code:
<img src="YOUR IMAGE URL HERE" alt="YOUR IMAGE DESCRIPTION HERE"/>
The last slash after the quote is optional, but recommended.

thank you so much! this was really helpful to me. i'm still trying to learn coding
