That was a little over 30 minutes mostly wasted, sort of interesting. My major critique was in that the illusion/ fantasy part was not explored enough. The alpha male thing with women and the penis thing for men misses reality completely.
On a previous topic about models being sex workers I referred to romance novelists as possible sex workers for women, but this talk was reading too much into it if they think illusion applies to reality.
If you think bigger breasts will attract more men, or being more an alpha male more women, this would be a big mistake. The illusion of bigger breasts and being alpha male might :twocents-02cents: .

I found it to be pretty interesting! I liked listening, anyways. It's always fun (to me) to hear stuff like this.

I would like to hope that humans are not so easily reduced to acting on base instincts when it comes to interacting with other humans. That perhaps there might be some cognitive recognition of these base instincts and the ability to examine them and maybe, you know, not just think with your penis or your ovaries. This hope is rather slim at this point in my life.

And as a man, I can't help but comment on the fact that the things that women are attracted to are based on a woman's ability to accurately assess things like what a man is thinking and whether he is good at stuff. Given my experiences, there seems to be some room for improvement there.

I read a book by Matt Ridley called the Red Queen.

Its heavy stuff and took me a long time to read, but it did more for my understanding of human nature and things like attraction than a semester at uni. I cannot recommend it enough.

I read it too when it came out, during that time I was in my psychology days, I also found topics by Desmond Morris interesting as well.
