This is my first time starting a new thread on the forum so apologies if this is not the right place for this.
When I first became a premium member on MFC I set up a very generic profile without any identifing features whatsoever. I later created an avatar (the same one I use on here) as I thought it just looked better to have one than not.
Because my username was exbeardy I got a few questions about my lack of beardage. Eventually I got fed up of replying so I put before and after pics on my profile. (although the before took longer to appear as it took me a while to find a suitable pic)
Now I get pm's saying - 'Whoa dude you are showing your face - aren't you worried someone will recoginse you?'
The answer is simply no I'm not. If anyone I know finds my MFC profile and goes 'OMG that's David. I have to tell someone or call him to make fun of him', my response would be 'Well how did you find it?'. It's not like anyone could find it via google unless they knew my mfc username (which is now davidexbeardy after the lovely Kittycatpurr kept calling me David in her room and causing confusion)
Also in the great scheme of things the fact that I have an MFC account isn't really something I am ashamed of. Sure I might be slightly embrassed if some of my friends knew, but most of them would probably just laugh for five minutes and then forget about it.
So my question to other MFC members is have you got a full frontal exposure of your face on your profile, and if not, why not?
