Slow Days? or is just for me?

Good morning streammers and friends, since December I've been observing a drastic drop in tokens/hour during my shows...
in October it was 730tk/h... in November 754tk/h... in December 616tk/h and now in January,
I'm struggling to maintain the 400tk/hour but I believe that by the end of the month I should be at 300tk/hour...

I started working on chaturbate in January 2021...
that means I complete a year of streaming now, so I don't have much experience to know what's going on...

As it was something very sudden and I didn't make any drastic changes in my shows,
I decided to come here to ask for who has more experience...
or at least to know if this is happening to everyone, or just me... Anyone else having this particular problem?

A lot of us are struggling lately, and I'm using The Dave App too much to borrow money. And it's really frustrating when you have a low camscore that won't seem to budge. I really hope the month of February is better for us all!

The experienced models here will have a lot more awareness of how their own earnings fluctuate, and perhaps I'm off base speculating. Maybe there is a slowing overall of the traffic on the major sites. But it could also be a seasonal thing around Christmas and New Year. Traditionally an expensive time for most people, so spending on other entertainment may drop off just before and a little afterwards. May not have been all that evident when you began a year ago as you'd have taken a while to build up your fan base? Also a lot of people are away from home visiting friends/family, and may just not be able to get their usual 'alone' time with their fave model. Equally, don't forget the impacts on employment of yet another wave of good ol' C-19 variants.......

End of month is usually slower for me.

It's not just you, this week it's taken me a week to make what I should normally be making in a day. I dont think it's a specific site that's slow at the moment either, my sales on MV are down, my subs on Onlyfans and Just for fans are also at all time lows, dec and jan are usually by best months, but I have been less than consistant the last couple of months which I am also assuming is a big factor in my personal drop.

I don't know what's going on either, in the first week of January I did 10000 tks, I didn't do streaming the following week, I did it again and since then I must have done 800 tks streaming every day in two weeks

Honestly, I've had at least 10 models tell me the same thing, this past Jan/Feb has been super slow and a lot of models are struggling to pay their bills. It has started to pick up significantly since then, thank goodness.

Wanted to offer some words of wisdom here. Been camming for many years now. Most models agree that the first year being "fresh meat" and "new" is really your highest earning time. After the first year, there is a slight lull. Most models start diversifying their income sources at that time. It's really hard to rely on one website for all your camming income. I can't even tell you how many times I've done terrible on one site but amazing on another.

January is full of reasons for it to be slow. 1) Users are paying off holiday credit card bills 2) Taxes are due 3) They have a "New Year New Me" attitude and try to shake their porn addictions. 4) With recent tax changes, a lot of people are not getting tax refunds as they received pre-payments throughout the year instead.

February is the shortest month of the entire year so it's hard to pull 31-day incomes in 28 days. Historically it's my lowest income month of the year for a variety of reasons but usually, it's because I'm burnout from going hard trying to finish the previous year on a high note. Then I try to keep up the momentum in January then fall on my face in February.

Now add in 40 year high inflation rates where people are paying 7-30% more than what they were used to in housing, utilities, food, gasoline etc. -- People are really feeling the pinch.

Also add in the war in Russia and Ukraine. People are very uneasy. To echo that message, a year or 2 ago when the Capital Riots happened in the US, it was completely dead online.

It's not a fun message but it's a professional one. When sales really start to slow down, start thinking about camming as a business. Compete with the best so that it's a no brainer for users to spend money on you vs. other models.

I always like to be optimistic. A model that I admire recently just got $15K in crypto from an admirer in one day. The money is still out there. It just is a bit harder to get right now.
