OK I've had a couple of these and I'm always skeptical but I'm pretty new so wanted to hear other girls thoughts as I imagine a lot of us have had it.

The most recent one a guy wants to me my 'sugar daddy' and give me £500 a week. Amazing if it were genuine but as they say if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. He refuses to pay by tokens as doesn't want to give mfc £250 a week. He tells me he can get the ball rolling straight away if I give him my sort code and account number. I would also have to give him my real name I guess.

I mean say it is a scam what can this guy do with these details, I mean what is the motive here??

Xx
I use google wallet and he can send it using an email address that you provide and then you can transfer it to your bank. It transfers faster when you link it to your debit card instead of using the routing and account numbers. That or get him to send you an amazon gift card. Never give out your banking info.

Sometimes I just have a hard time believing that someone who won't even bother to tip you 10...20 tokens in your room is really gonna become a cam girl's sugar daddy. Lol. Sorta reminds me of the dudes in the Craigslist gigs section who say they'll pay X dollars to do a photo shoot (or take photos for their "private collection"), and then after you've sent them a few sexy-ass photos to see what you look like, you either A) never hear from them again or B) they're like "VERY nice! Got any more pics?" *eyeroll*

And there's the question of whether or not you'd really be comfortable meeting a cam site member in person and now have more information (than the other members) about where you live...like the county you live in.

And could you really trust someone who may have the $, but hasn't spent the time to get to know you first? Prove that he does support you? Prove you can trust him with some information, maybe by revealing fake secrets and see how they handle it? Trust goes both ways and that kind of thing doesn't happen overnight.

Hey Phoenix,
Sugaring is not like a traditional form of dating nor traditional form of sex work. You see, they pay for your companionship because sugar babies are cheaper than mistresses and more emotionally driven than escorts. Now, many sugar daddies and babies often do not share too many real life secrets. However, it varies from arrangement to arrangement. Some sugar babies are more upfront and some are not. As a sugar baby; I do not share a lot of my real life with my sugar daddies and they do not real care. They pay for a good time, a shoulder to cry one, and young woman to entertain them. This being said....there is no real trust or loyalty in the sugar bowl. Most arrangements last between a few months or maybe a year. You have a good time, make your money, and go to the next one. It is rarely emotional for either parties.:cat:

Ah, yes I understand that bit. Both parties should be hush-hush about personal details. (Less they end up on a youtube video for being "rude") But I was speaking strictly from a member on a cam-site who wants to establish his credentials, so to speak. Because typically, I don't think on sugar babies have camsex with their POTs before dating. So I can see how a cam model would feel a little more vulnerable and would want to see if:

#1. They have the $ they claim to have. If there's already a medium in which they can tip and shower the girl, then that seems like a good place to start. In no means is it an end-all way of proving their income, neither would their respective rewards points, but I would think a model would like to see some tokens go her way before just up and accepting any offers.

#2. They can sort of get a feel for the member and decide if they even want to make themselves available in that fashion to them. A high tipping regular who only gives you lots of headaches and seems very needy doesn't seem like someone you would want to be involved with outside of camland. His feelings may intensify and if he's already dropping L bombs now and giving off a desperate vibe, I can only think the possessiveness and jealousy could get worse after having physical contact, with or without sexual intimacy.

#3. Along with #2, just goes along with trust. Can you trust this guy to see you in the first place and treat you as a respectful gentleman before trying to lay it on heavy with awful pick up lines, feeble attempts to get in your pants etc., can you trust this guy to keep his mouth shut, just all those little things that you don't typically see in sugar arrangements but tie into camland. Because in one instance, you have a woman working more publicly in the industry that has a bit of a stigma in the minds of some, and she has to be very protective of what she shares for fear of members trying to out her either to other members, or worse case facebook stalking and outing to family members. On the other instance is a woman who isn't a cam model, but has a more discreet means of offering companionship. There isn't a chatroom with members that she has to worry about trying to separate each little relationship and keep the privacy of each, but just a few private emails or text between her and her POT.

So it's this distinct between a cammer who has other sex work and a sugar baby who is only a sugar baby, that I would think, would lead me to believe a cammer would be a little more selective about who she shares any personal information with and who she meets. Because she has a reputation to maintain and because she doesn't want to fear the backlash if ever a member opened his mouth about them meeting, etc. Imagine. One guy gets upset and starts blabbing every detail out in public chat or the lounge and now you've got all your customers giving you the "Well you met him, why won't you meet me?" Sounds like a fucking headache already.
