takedown notice name removed?

Hi all...I am no longer a model and haven't been for some time...so I am not posting in the models section. In the past I did camming for a short bit of time. I had submitted a couple of takedown notices after I stopped camming. I didn't realize at the time that they would show my name.

Is there any way to get your name redacted through chilling effects? I am afraid for my safety. Thank you.

That is a good point, how does a model get a takedown notice enacted and still maintain her security?

I guess you talk to the site you used to work for/ still work for, ask them to do it for both yourself and that site?
There must be 3rd party options I suspect frostedflakes123, even if this entails some form of legal representation to do it on your behalf.

You go through the site you work (or worked) for, NEVER send one yourself, because as OP is finding out... it's a really terrible security risk. Technically, any sort of cap from a show belongs to the camsite that you were streaming on at the time, and most sites are more than happy to send a DMCA request if you send them a direct link to the video/cap you need removed. The DMCA notices that the site sends has their info on it, NOT the model's, so it's a secure way to get things like that taken down. I believe that even after quitting camming, you can still send takedown/DMCA requests to the camsite you worked for, but don't quote me on that as I have no personal experience with it (I'm still a full-time model.) It's worth noting that the person who uploaded the video/cap to whatever site you found it on will NOT always listen or respond to DMCA requests, so taking down all stolen caps/videos is practically impossible.

As for your question, frosted... No. There's no way to retract that information, whoever posted the video now has it and you can pretty much just cross your fingers and hope they don't use it in any way. I'm sorry this is happening to you and that nothing bad happens!

I just wanted to update everyone on the situation. Turns out, I did get a response and they changed the takedown notice to reflect my performer name at the time. So, if anyone has submitted a takedown request and they want Chilling Effects to change it, reach out to them.

Of course, I recommend that you don't include your name to begin with.
