ok so i doubt anyone will answer this one but i am asking cause a cam model friend of mine is wondering about how the tax thing works and i am not sure she is going to join this site to ask it. How are the taxes for this line of work? do you have to pay a huge amount or what? i am just curious cause she is worrying way to much about this.

Hi. The Models Only section actually has a thread about taxes for a cam girl. But your friend would need to become verified on here as a model to participate in that area of the forum.

Depends on her tax bracket really. I have a CPA that handles all the monies for me, cause you know me and math  A good rule of thumb is to save at least 15% - 20% of what you make. She can write off things such as home office, travel, web cams, software, even tipping other models. Like Foxy said though, tell her to join ACF and there is a huge thread in the models only section that should help her.
