There are a few threads that attempt to go into the lack of tipping... This might lead into that but is more a general observation of the mindset behind it.
I spent awhile in the lounge today just watching the BS while waiting for a model friend to come out of a rare pvt..

There were a few going on about how they hated the US girls BC they all seemed to be spoiled princesses and felt entitled to outrageous amounts of "tokens for nothing" simply because they are on cam and that most needed to 'go back out to the street corner where they belonged.'
Some said 'all models live better than most pervs' and therefore felt justified in not tipping. They didnt accept any arguments to the contrary BC they don't view camming as a "real job" and said the usual, 'if they'd get a real job' crap.
One of the most vocal about it all was a total tool by the nic of SkypeBarrel.
Apparently 'Gods gift' to the lounge and humanity... at least in his own outspoken mind. roflol
I think he is sadly representative of the new mentality of a very large percentage of the members now.
The one comment that got the most support or confirmation from other loungers just flat pissed me off....

They dont care in the least that this is a job and a livelyhood for income for a large percentage of girls. They dont care about the economics of anything nor about anyone other than themselves.

As has been said here before, I think by a model ,... 'when the models decide to limit the free public everything, then maybe the site will be left with a better token flow.'

IMO, MFC would be doing everyone a service by eliminating the lounge... At least with the 1K lounge, you know they have contributed more than the minimum amount and should have at least a rudimentary knowledge of how things work.

I've talked to several guys in PM who were acting all nice in the chat then as soon as you talk to them where the model can't see it is clear that they view the model as a slab of meat. I think most of these guys in the lounge don't disrespect models as much as they disrespect women in general. That or they believe respect is something to be earned instead of lost and therefore they spend their life disrespecting everyone they feel hasn't given them a reason to do otherwise. Pretty much every woman puts themselves out there to be objectified to some extent. You're right, because I've flat out asked people that in lounge when they've made a particularly disgusting comment about women and their responses revealed a great deal, and basically amounted to "huh? she's just a whore, if she's going to do that then she doesn't deserve respect".

What I find really outrageous is the hypocrisy - that they believe she's morally bankrupt by making herself available to men (in the online world), yet they're not contributing or guilty of similar moral "crimes" themselves by desiring her.

There are two sides to this. Many models are here for fun, and it shows. They are engaging and attractive and easy to see as a person. It's pretty true, if I had a job with as much freedom, which provided lots of fun and laughs, and paid as well WITHOUT involving the risks and cons of being naked on the Internet, I probably wouldn't entertain the thought of staying on MFC. But it's very unlikely to come across a job with such a great payout and freedoms, because those things come at a high risk. I even HAD a real job, but after I quit it, I decided to come back to doing this because it's fun, my everyday expenses are rather lower than when I was in the professional field (no commute, no lunches out, no "office" wardrobe expenses) and I feel that I can be more creative. I've found it hard to "fit in" on MFC because of the culture of "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" that 95% of the lounge-dwellers tend to have.

I don't make a killing on MFC (...I make 1/4 what I made at my "real" job per hour, all told, if I'm lucky) because I'm not a front-page, top-20 model with a horde of regulars and a 35,000 point camscore, but the fun factor can help negate the "how am I going to buy cat food if I make 25 tokens in three hours?" factor, for a time.
