I had the same problem tonight. Was waiting for a regular for a private (I got the times messed up was on nearly an hour early). Purple user comes in and starts typing away. I verbally start replying to him (mistake). He ends up going on for nearly 20 minutes ends with "Have a great night!" and leaves. I banned the guy. He comes back with a grey account and DEMANDS to know why I banned him. I told him. Banned him again.
Unfortunately, this isn't exclusive to SC, it's on all freemium sites for tokens, and actually I even see it on other places too. Just one of those sad things that guys do everywhere

Pigglewoggle came into my room first, lurked a bit, then hank entered and said this. After no reply from me he said "interested?". I said something along the lines of "if you have the tokens to spend i think you'd have started spending them by now" because I have a clear tip menu and wheel spin game available to spend tokens on. Then pigglewoggle speaks up about Statbate. I smelled a scam and honestly I don't even care if it is a scam, even if he does have the tokens he claims, they're not worth this weiiiird game.
"PM me" is seen a lot on SC. Someone will enter a room & immediately write that. Less than a minute, they're gone. Trying it, I'm sure, in other rooms over & over.
I have the words blocked ad many others might have done the same. Mostly it's in tip notes from my experiences.
This is obviously the same person trying to scam. I have definitely seen this type of thing before.
It bothers me his name is one letter away from an insanely popular children's book series, Mrs. Pigglewiggle. She fixes bad behaviors in children.

I didn't even know that part. Ah well. They were both banned as soon as I read the messages.
By immediately banning them, you fixed their "bad behaviors" at least in your room

Really? I’m surprised, because I used to get bombarded with “PM?” in my public chat when I was active on CB. Drove me crazy. Lol.
And I believe the ultimate members on SC get the perk of being able to bother any SC model they want via PM.

There was a model who would announce when ultimate members started nagging her, that yes ultimate members are able to PM her but she is not obligated to read themReally? I hated that feature (or perk, I should say) when I'd cammed on SC. Ultimate members who'd never once spent any tokens on ME...thinking I'm gonna turn my attention away from the public chat to interact with them one-on-one via PM with their stupid lil' "Hey, sexy" messages. Lol.
Reminds me of members who think they're slick by naming themselves things like RichieRich, expecting models to give them extra special attention (or freebies) because they might spend money on them.
tbh i think most DO know what they are doing, especially if they have been on the site for years. pretty much every room has a per message or daily fee for pms… they do know, they still try.

Saw this very scam in action today. Hank comes in and says the tokens thing (model I mod for told me). Pigglewoggle then arrives and does their part.
The scam is very simple. hank_6977 (with one underscore) is indeed a high tipper according to statbate. hank__6977 (with two underscores) is not.
I assume that the next step of the scam is to try and trick a model into doing something in the hope of receiving a chunk of tokens from hank. I guess it relies on a model being distracted enough to not thoroughly compare the usernames before doing whatever is requested. Thanks to this forum, I was on it like a car bonnet.
And if the names matched then what? It doesn't matter what statbate says, don't do anything for free. Most of those high tippers aren't even real, there's a reason they are age verified and that reason is to receive the tokens back.
I'm not saying that anyone should do anything without payment. What I'm saying is that he's hoping that by the law of averages, if he does this enough times, then he'll eventually latch on to a model who is distracted and desperate enough. A lot of models are under a lot of pressure from studios and tolerate things that the independent models here wouldn't tolerate.
