Hello! I'm new to camming and to this forum, my apologies for any etiquette breaches or format weirdness. Please do point them if if applicable though!

I stream on Chaturbate but have been looking for ways to build my audience without having to cam for extended periods of time, so I started a SFW sleeping stream on Twitch. I linked my camgirl Twitter on there and openly talk about camming when I am awake. The stream is flagged 18+. So, my questions are these:

Do any of you have experience with directing traffic from Twitch or other SFW streaming sites to your camming? If so, how did monetizing the SFW site go? How ban-happy is Twitch for things like this?

Thank you!

Holly

You're risking your Twitch account by linking it directly to your adult-oriented sites/social media. I'd suggest changing that.

They banned accounts with links to Onlyfans in 2021, especially after everyone jumped to twitch to do pool and tub streams so I doubt webcam links are allowed even linktree is risking it. One of your viewers will report you eventually.

You can direct your twitch viewers to follow you on Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok. Those are safe. Facebook too, although I don't know anyone who uses Facebook.

Twitter allows you to add links to your cam site.

Instagram, YouTube and Tiktok only allow you to add your linktree link. If you add a camsite or Onlyfans someone can report your profile and you'll get suspended which really sucks especially after you gained a nice following you get suspended at +10K followers. And unlike camsites where you have forums like these to get help get unbanned, META and Google don't play and you can't overturn a suspension.

Plus you aren't allowed to talk about porn (SW general) or drug use in your Twitch stream, +18 means you are allowed to curse and maybe scantily dressed (apparently bikini and sexy cosplay are ok but lingerie isn't) but no more. So if you still want to twitch stream, don't talk about webcam or allow your viewers to do it. You'll be reported and suspended/banned

Thank you both for your replies! I should've specified that I linked to my Twitter, not my camsite, my mistake. I'll keep that up for now but just as a link, and ban relevant words. Thanks again!
