2. Same year, when I moved into the dorm room, I couldn't find any of my three graphing calculators. I looked everywhere. I knew I had packed them, but I didn't remember unpacking them. About two months after the start of the year (after the unit on matrices, forcing me to use five times the amount paper I would've had to), I find one under my desk. This desk had not been moved since before the bags were even brought into the room. There was only one way out from under the desk, and the calculator was too big to fit through the hole.

Could you have packed the calculator in the drawer of the desk. Then while it was being moved someone tilted it on its side or upside down during the move, maybe getting it off a pickup. That could have slide it out of the drawer, then when they set it down it settled down behind the drawer or desk, where you found it, as they were putting it into place?

Back to cryptids: When I was young, I always wished someone would find the mokele mbembe creature, because it was a DINOSAUR! Alas, I now think it was nothing but the locals telling the idiot visitor whatever it took to keep the money coming, as the creature has been alternately described as a theropod dinosaur, a sauropod dinosaur and a giant rhinoceros.

The desk came with the dorm room. No chance it was packed in with the desk.

The only weird thing that has EVER happened to me...

Was working at a pizza delivery place a bunch of years ago. We had an older guy named Harry that worked there. Was always in poor health, didn't take care of himself or anything.

He was a nice enough guy, I was never really all that close to him though. Work acquaintance, nothing more really.

Well one day he goes to the hospital, real sick apparently. Some of his closer friends at work went to visit him and said he wasn't really responsive, just laying in the bed.

After he's in for a couple days, I had a dream about him one night.

In the dream I go to visit him in the hospital. When I walk into the room, he sits up and turns so his feet hang off the side of the bed.
I say to him "Harry! You're ok!" and he replied "Nope, I'm already dead."
Then I woke up.

Didn't think much of it.
Next day I goto work, and it turns out he had died during the night.

Kinda freaked me out.

I told people at work about it, and someone told some of his family members.
He was Phillippino(spelling sorry), and apparently their culture strongly believes in spirits.
His kids all wanted to talk to me because they were all convinced that he chose me to let everyone know he had passed n such.

I just felt really uncomfortable with it though because I'm a huge skeptic with this type of stuff. To me it was pretty weird, but I chalked it up to coincidence.

My policy in life is "believe it when I see it." so I'm a huge skeptic in general. Never seen god, never seen ghosts, aliens, bigfoot, etc so I don't know that they exist. I'm not saying they DON'T, but I'm just saying I want to see proof with my own eyes.

In particular, I want to see a ghost. I have gone on several ghost hunts and never saw a damn thing.

Don't get me wrong, if I saw one, I would probably scream like a little girl, piss my pants, start crying, and run terrified begging for my mommy.

But I still want to see one.

I have esp. I've had it my entire life. I don't tell many people as it is easier for them to see it for themselves so my wife, son, and best friend all know I have it. I say what they are going to say before they say it or I will do something before they ask me to do it. I see it like a movie in my mind as I see the scene play out and hear the words they have not yet spoken. I also have a connect with those that have passed away. Especially those that died a violent death. That part can be tough at times and 9/11 was real bad for me as an example.

Welp, I just had a UFO sighting during the August Meteor shower.

I went out the the river and laid on the bank, completely out of the reach of any light pollution so the sky and stars were as clear as possible and not a cloud in the sky.

I had already seen a LOT of meteors but then suddenly, directly above me was a BRIGHT flash in the sky that then quickly dimmed, but was still extremely bright. It sat for a minute before in then started moving downward very slowly and then changed direction and whizzed off to the right before disappearing. Meteors don't change direction, speed or hover, obviously.

Here's the craziest part! No more than 1 minute after it whizzed off I see an aircraft in the far distance just over the horizon. It was directly over my head flying the exact spot the light first appeared within seconds and looped back to where it came from. It was most definitely a military jet and that sucker was hauling fucking cookies, I've never seen an aircraft move that fast before except the one I had JUST seen directly before hand.

So that was crazy. Pretty sure I saw a UFO AND watched the military investigate it all within about 1 and a half minutes.

I'll also throw out here that I saw many satellites that evening and this was not one, it also took off in the opposite direction than satellites were orbiting. The quickness of that jet leads me to believe that whatever it was, they were aware of it before it went bright.
