Hey guys I'm Tylor and I have been making clips for about a month now and I've had my onlyfans account for about 6 months and my private snap for about A year.

I've decided to dabble in camming so I went live on MFC for the first time earlier today and tbh I was a nervous wreck for the first 10 mins but after that it was fine it was like a soft opening I didn't stay on too long I did prepare a tiny tip menu just incase. But It was really for me to try and understand the whole streaming thing on MFC.

With that being said I'm very new to this world and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a newbie on MFC. I really need help lol

Also I'm sure there's a thread just like this and I apologize for that!

Do you have any specific questions? I'm also a newbie (first stream on MFC was on the night of the 8th) but I'm really enjoying it so far and I'd love to share experiences and tips with someone in a similar boat to me!

Hey, my first night was the 6th and I've been really enjoying it! Getting to know people has been amazing I'm seeing people come back I actually really like it a lot. I don't have many questions right now I was more so just looking for pointers in some areas but I figured it will come in time. But I would love that!

Hello! I'm also a somewhat newbie (been on MFC since December). Right now I'm really trying to educate myself to protect myself. If you don't already I would def look into getting a watermark on your stream, especially if you plan on taking private shows. Try and stream as much as you can this week, take advantage of that new model tag!! Good luck, love!

Awesome! I'm enjoying it too. Glad you're here! :)

I'm not against a watermark, if it's not too big and doesn't bother a viewer, but what exactly does it protect a model from? 🤔 Once it is out there on the Internet it will be easier for people to find where your cam place, so in a way it is more of an advertisement.

DMCA protection! People love to steal content and upload it elsewhere. It can deter people from stealing it in the first place, and if it does get reuploaded it may be easier to find it and put a claim against it.

It really doesn't hinder that, it's more so as @northtosouth said being a way to bring viewers of the stolen content to your live room or social media, hopefully to buy content directly from you. (It happens more often than people think or want to admit.)

With watermark or not, you will appear on internet anyways.

This reminds me of the people who hire companies that provide private security services to their homes.

And I have heard that when you stop paying those companies that provide their security, there is always someone who suffers an incident of theft in their home (this is a clear business of the security companies that provide those services). I could give you examples from several countries where this happens, but I better leave it that way.
Now I wonder: Will the same thing happen with these types of companies that offer services to protect your content on the internet? What would happen if you stop paying them the payment for their protection benefits on the internet? Will it be that your files appear again on the network? But to this, another additional problem is added, that certain people will have more information about you, considering that you have paid with your card in your name that service to use their services of´´protection´´.
Do you know what would really be a protection? That when members want to record you in Free-Chat or Private Mode, they will get a black screen when they try to record you (Example: as a video screenshot). But that I think is impossible, adult websites where it you broadcast, do not care so much about the model.

Also if that existed on the part of the adult website, the user can always record you even using their mobile phone or a DSRL camera and put it on the internet. And fuck your protection! Are many innocent people here or they act like ones.

There's a healthy level of caution, and then there's stressing yourself out far above and beyond what's necessary. You have overshot the above and beyond so much, you're orbiting the moon.

But what is the use of such a service, if you are going to appear on the internet but with a watermark. What protection shit is that. Go to the porn sites on the internet and you will see how many are recorded with their watermark in their video. The only difference is that they are there but with the watermark.

I'm not sure how/why you got the idea that putting a watermark on your feed is a "service"? It's not provided by a company, you do it yourself. The point is that if you put your model name on your feed as a watermark, people who see you elsewhere and want to tip you or buy your content have your name and know how to find you.

I have absolutely driven sales to my Clips4sale store by uploading a teaser on Pornhub with the purchase link as a watermark. Anyone saying that it provides protection is unfortunately misinformed, but watermarks are advised by experienced models for marketing/advertising purposes.

Listen to what people like Amber are saying on such topics, rather than newer models who may have read something inaccurate and don't realize yet that it's not true. Amber has years of experience in the industry and good awareness of what works versus what doesn't, which is why she made the correction she did about the purposes of watermarking.

When pornhub introduced their amateur model program. Some models were able to claim their pirated content and get a payout. Not to mention ranking, followers, an ongoing source of revenue, extra. Other models who had DMCA all their content, when they joined, they didn't get that payout, views, ranking.

In the case of say xvideos. They have a content partner program. There are models on their with easily 8,000,000+ views. If they had uploaded the content themselves. If .44 to .69 for every 1,000 views, That could have been a 3,520‬ to 5,520 payout.

VS DMCA being a full time job with no end, spending all that time and possibly money trying to fight something you have no control over.
