I would like to split cam on two free/chat based sites with private/groups turned off. Would something like this bother you as a tipper/viewer? I wouldn't have any problems keeping up with chat, but there would occasionally be chat that makes no sense, as well as random free flashes/stuff going on with tips coming from two separate sites.

It depends on your camming style and what kind of tippers you want.

If your style is primarily "live porn" where tippers are buzzing your Lovense, I don't see a problem with split camming. In fact, a lot models already do this for MFC and Chaturbate, even some of the most popular ones. You can count on tippers staying engaged and interested as long as there is some on screen action.

If you want more a social environment where you are hanging out and chatting, split camming is probably the worst idea. There is just no way you can juggle both chats and be fully engaged. If one site picks up, people talk and you are getting tipped, you will inevitably neglect the other site. Maybe you will have to go offline on one site or just never respond to anyone there. Over time, the people from the other site will learn to avoid you. By then, you might as well just focus on one.

There's seems to be sites where the social interaction is less important, maybe it's ok for most of those sites. I can only speak for MFC as it's the only site I'm a member on, but the social aspect is a big part of the community for the vast majority of the rooms I'd say. For me personally if a model becomes too distracted I just exit as I enjoy the social part of it as much as the goals. I've yet to see a split-cam on MFC where it wasn't pretty obvious it was happening, so I'd qualify it as a distraction. For some it may be far less important. Again I can't speak to other sites, that's just from an MFC member perspective.

It's not impossible. It may take some getting used to having to multi task. But I think as long as you're not broadcasting a private session then you're in the clear. I think mostly the problems come from members who are in private and trying to have 100% of the models attention suddenly interrupted by a tip sound. But if you're doing your thing and able to keep up in more than one place at once, then more power to you and I hope it pays out for you.

The last couple of days in this thread has been a fair amount of discussion on split camming, and has been discussed in others as well.

The general consensus is that if it's in open chat, most don't have problems with it. Even if they tip for something specific. Trying to maintain active topics in multiple rooms might become a bit of a juggle, and you may lose people if they know you're in multiple sites at once.

Where I, and many others, have issues is broadcasting privates and especially TruePrivates/Exclusives on other sites. We're paying for it, and yet you're giving it away on other sites to try and gain tips publicly. I've had models do this to me three different occasions. I confronted the first model, and she got extremely defensive so I blocked her and reported her to MFC. The other two, I just exited the private as soon as I heard the sound and blocked with never a word back to her via message, room, or mfc mail. These are models I had been frequenting their rooms regularly and tipped rather well publicly. I also had done at least a few TruePrivates with them (900 token minimum with them each time). On the flip side, if I can tell or even have a feeling a model might be in a private elsewhere and broadcasting it publicly, I exit her room.

Only you can decide whether to do it or not and take the risk of either getting more tokens, or losing revenue.

It's not just tip sound, it's also tapping out something on the keyboard and not seeing something come up on the screen in the private or in PM/DM. I can kind of understand once in terms of "I'm in a pvt, will respond whend done", and I get that some people may tip on the site we're one so I'll forgive the sound if it's once or twice. But, if I hear another tip sound I recognize on another site, or other sounds going off frequently is when I block and exit never to speak to the model again.

This can depend for me personally. I mean, some models (especially studio ones) will PM people, whether they ask for the PM or not. So that is part of why they are in PM BUT in Pm AND split camming, it's like some models forget that other people are talking; public, pm, other sites. They get so immersed in one conversation (PM or another site) and forget about everyone else. That for me is annoying. I mean, you see them laughing, giggling etc which of course is great BUT it excludes everyone else and makes them leave. This is why public chat is always best unless it truly is something specific - everyone involved = much better and people will stay because they are chatting and 'bating.

So whilst on one hand I don't mind because the model could be in a nice/good conversation and not be bored, on the other side is they forget about everyone else and/or are terrible at juggling.
I think if you're only sticking with 2 sites it's ok though. It's the poor models that are with studios who literally have 6 or 7 open. I really feel bad for those women. They are doing what they are told yet potentially losing a lot of custom due to so many.

I was referring to being in a private/TruePrivate/Exclusive when she's doing that more than when in public. :)
