I would like to ask for clarification regarding two emails we recently received.
The first email stated:
"Recently, we have received a number of alarming reports that individuals are being tricked into age verifying through the platform. Obviously these reports are very concerning because the cornerstone of the platform is informed consent. Be advised that such conduct will not be tolerated and if any further reports are received the studio and all studio operators will be banned from the platform.
To avoid any interruption in your studio's use of the platform, you will need to respond to this email within the next 5 days confirming it has been read and understood."
Unfortunately, I did not see this email at the time. Later, I received the following follow-up message:
"We are following up on our email of July 17th, 2026. In that email, you were provided 5 days to confirm that the email sent has been read and understood. As it has been 5 days and we have not received confirmation, further action was taken."
As soon as I became aware of these emails, I replied to the original email. I am also writing here in the hope of helping to speed up the review of my response.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify what specifically led to this warning. To the best of our knowledge, we have never tricked, misled, or pressured anyone into completing the age verification process. Everyone who has completed verification through our studio has done so voluntarily.
We take Chaturbate's policies very seriously and would like to understand what caused this concern so that we can review our procedures and ensure full compliance.
Additionally, could you please clarify what is meant by "further action was taken" and whether there is anything we need to do to resolve this matter?
