What do you do when your favourite models are taking time off?

I tend to go about my day. If I need a fix, I explore other model rooms. I lurk a few ladies' rooms though, so chances are one model I follow is on.
I'll do one of 4 things usually. In no particular order. Check out some other girls that may have caught my eye, or like last night watch a movie. For those interested it was Casino Royal. Other times I'll watch one of my purchased videos of one of my favorite ladies, and sometimes I'll do something crazy like actually do something productive. lol

I tend to go into my archives and watch previous private shows with said model.
You know that we cam girls want to think our regulars miss us dearly, watch our archives/videos and await our return longingly while saving up every token to spoil us with on our return.
That's the fantasy, anyway.
In reality we know our members will likely still hang out on the cam site, possibly hanging out with other models they frequent usually, spend tokens as usual, or spend more time in the lounge, possibly eventually lose that intense interest in us. Maybe find a new room to call their "home". This is why so many cam girls freak out at having to take time away. We don't want to be forgotten, or slip down the list of favorite models, or our members to lose interest in the site in general. IT'S SO SCARY.

Yea when my favorite model is not on, I feel lost not sure what to do. I usually take time off being online and catch up on TV shows and movies. I feel that when she stops being a model that I will also stop visiting the sites as the atmosphere of the cam sites is not really for me.

Good Question. I have 12-14 Friend/Favorites cam girls. I thought about your question and this is what i do in priority :
:- Peruse the many bookmarked models, I usually just preview photo/video. See who looks like they are having fun. I have A LOT of models I bookmark on mfc. For me bookmarks are usually types I like, Freind/Favorites are types I that I really like but have some type or rapport with.
- After bookmarks I peruse the rest that are filtered. I limit my settings to English speaking countries. Always checking out new talent.
- Check Twitter for pics of my favs and bookmarks. That can lead to all kinds of places.
- If nothing there I will go to my google drive where I have all the images and movies I have purchased or shows I have recorded.
- Blog about my favorite gals or a new find.
- I will broaden my look at all mfc models but that is rare.

I never really have that problem, but have missed the occasional model while she has been away. When I miss a favourite I tend to go the archive option and save some tokens for that model's return.
I'm not really pitching up in any models rooms just now, currently enjoying a break from MFC myself, but in the past when a model friend has taken a vacation (2 weeks) I've left a daily offline tip and a couple of tip notes just to let her know she was missed. To fill the time I wasn't using for MFC I would create a few banners/emotes and otherwise occupy myself with other projects outside of MFC.

Let's talk about the social first. Sometime around April of last year, I met a beautiful young Ukranian girl who was sitting there waiting. I tipped a little, talked a little and added her as a friend. Over the course of the next few months, we got pretty tight. She is intelligent, fiercely independent, and is going places in life. She quit camming around 6 months ago. We still chat, sometimes skpe (non-sexual), but I still miss the hell out of her being on cam. So some nights, when my fave isn't on, I will start at the bottom of the page and search for a model who can replace Sabby. Probably never going to happen. This girl was rare.
Now the sexual. My fave is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. For months now, I have not been able to get off sexually to any woman other than her (don't bother pointing out how unhealthy this is, I am well aware). If she is on, I am watching her (unless we are in the middle of a squabble and she has banned me, or I have gotten fed up and left in disgust). I can relate. The model I mentioned in my post, she was the only reason I joined and started spending money on Live Jasmin. Since she left, the place is a dark, desolate wasteland for me.

Over the years I have seen models come and go. I have fond memories of many of them, but I haven't always been able to tip them lots or take them private every time. Some have retired, others just vanished.. It happens. Every day about 100 new models sign up to MFC, and there are bound to be interesting models among them. Yes I miss them.. sure I die a little when one model retires or vanishes.. but life goes on.

I'd recommend taking the opportunity to diversify your interests, whether it be other models - there are lots of great ones - or other activities.

When I first saw this thread, my first thought was "Wow, he sounds like he's a little lost when his favorite cam girls aren't online." You could use this as an opportunity to take a short break from your computer, for starters. Even I have moments where I need to make myself turn off the computer after being on there for so long, and I read a library book (if I have any books checked out) or find something else to do (maybe hang up some of these clothes, once and for all, that have been sitting here in these laundry baskets taking up space). Put on some music...give the parents a call to say hi...go for a drive...get out the house and get some air...etc.
Since I only have 2 models on my friend's list and I'm only moderately interested in the models in my bookmarks; I simply do not visit MFC much when one of my favs is on break. I would rather save tokens and give it to someone I really like vs tipping randoms. I also go on long breaks from MFC from 2 to 4 months. I also prefer a professional model to member relationship and realize that MFC is just for fun and not that serious.
I revert back to when I didn't know the cam model thing was even a thing, all the while wishing them (in my mind) a great time and success at whatever they are doing. I used to not be so social so I have tons of things I do that can take up my time. Just hoping for the best in both worlds, you know? (it sounds so cheesy, but I really do think that)

I used to float around the site and check out other rooms of models I was semi familiar with. These days I mostly twiddle my thumbs, catch up on tv, and sleep.
By professional model to member relationship, I mean that this is just entertainment, not about love, not about dating or anything too serious, just fun. Models are entertainers doing a job and I don't expect anything more from them than entertainment. I don't want to meet any models in person, I don't want any strong feelings of love or obsession to creep up on me-- Just some good laughs, some bantery conversation, a little bit of sexiness and hopefully everyone has a good time.
Admittedly, some models are so charming + attractive that they occupy more headspace than originally allotted, thus a minor caffeine addiction level intrigue with some models--- Nice to see them them online for a quick pick me up.
Who is she? Dang, you got me wanting to visit her room now. I should hire you to do commercials for me lol.

For one thing, you are a bit petite for my tastes (nothing against you). I prefer women with smaller breasts, but kinda big in the caboose (think LusciousLopez).
For another thing, I like women with a few flaws, and you appear to be about as close to pristine as you can possibly get.
