I've heard similar things quite often. Always from people who are bitter about their current situation, but refuse to do anything about it.

and given that he's educated enough to know of historical concepts like wage slavery, and presumably someone with a porn budget, it suggests he's probably not in the condition of being too much of a pleb and a dullard to do anything about his situation, but, rather, too comfortable with the affluent life his miserable job affords him to downgrade his life and transition to something new, potentially more rewarding/fruitful, but less profitable. So I'd agree it sounds like a 'refuse to do anything about it' situation, as opposed to 'unfortunate to be unable to better himself' type situation some people suffer in miserable work because of.

More missing the point and making things personal. My personal situation is irrelevant. I'm talking about how the world perceives it's reality and follows willingly, questioning nothing.
Meanwhile, your busy judging me like you've been conditioned to do so, when confused by alternative thought. :)

lol, typical conspiracist rhetoric. If you have any philosophy to demonstrate, I'm happy to critique your arguments. But if you don't have arguments, there's really no substance to any of this. Sorry, this is how I was conditioned by a sound foundation of basic logic, philosophy, rhetoric, and fundamental sciences from history to sociology to psychology to biology. damn gubmint!!

I'm not sure how you couldn't even unintentionally pick up on a bunch after 20 years but that's nice I suppose.

The majority of women seem to realize that having a fat ass is a compliment regardless of where they are from in my experience. I think the great philosopher Sir Mix-A-Lot helped bring attention to the worlds love for big butts.

I grew up in the 80ies, there is no music after 1990, you heathen!

One thing that makes me want to leave is when a model screams, "Hiiiiii baaaaabyyyyy!" To my ears it sounds like fabric tearing.

Maybe in Latin culture when a guy hears that he thinks, "Wow, I'm in for some hot lovin' now."?

Do you mean Hiiii baaaaabyyyyy or "aye paaaappiiii?" Cause those are two totally different things. hahahaha.

The work a day,job world was created to keep you tired and stupid and worried about trivial things.
As an aside the routinised 9 to 5, 12 months a year working pattern was a creation of the industrial revolution made possible by developments in lighting technology and intended to maximise the utilisation of workplace based capital equipment. So its a human meaning unnatural construct actively imposed on what had previously been a primarily agrarian population then subject to the vagaries of the seasons.

The screaming/talking into the damn mic when they get a huge tip. OMG, it sounds awful...

Exactly! 150 years ago that was everyone's life.no one got in anyone's way. Now you have to compete to be able to live/survive/ exist.
Be thought of as needed by someone else's decision.

Excuse me? Have you ever studied life 150 years ago? Didn't have to compete? Are you mad? In 1867 people were competing for food so they wouldn't starve to death.
The hell with money, they fought for necessities. The period after the Civil War in the US was a perfect example of the law of the jungle. Conditions in other developed countries such as England were just as bad or worse.

Go look up the East End and Whitechapel in the late 1880s in London and get back to me about how relaxed and cooperative it was.

I'm pretty sure everything he says is bait at this point.

You're not confusing us by alternative thought anymore than we're confused by the people that claim Sandy Hook was a hoax.

Looks, it appears simple. You are in a soul-sucking job you hate, you are 51, bitter and have decided that anyone that actually likes their job is delusional. Based on some weird philosophical throwback to the 60's you have decided that white collar workers are incapable of seeing their own imprisonment. I roomed with a philosophy major, believe me there's no argument you have that I haven't heard, both sides of...sometimes three sides.

Do you have any idea of how foolish a sweeping generalization like that sounds? You sound like someone that has never found a job that they like, or you have a work ethic that prevents you from achieving one.

I like my job, I enjoy dealing with the people that work for me and I like the challenges that come up. I'm also fairly certain that most of the people that work for me feel far from oppressed. Are there dull days, sure. I tend to leave early those days. Are there times I would rather be doing other things? Sure. That's normal.

You really need to find a hobby or something to keep busy.

You're redundant and just showing a confirmation bias. You choose to like your job because in your limited understanding of the world around you, you only have so nany options based on the rules you choose to obey that you had no say in developing. Again, you think with your emotions trying to say it's because I don't like something on a shallow personal level. No, it's because I'm questioning ultimate reality.
Youre a lying fool if you said you would k eep working at this job you like if you really didn't have to.
Lol at saying you like challenges at a job.
Jobs don't have challenges nor does anyone really want one. No one wants to worry about maybe or maybe not figuring something out to the point their job is on the line or a paycheck is taken away.
Youre a good sheep,,you obey your M asters well. You enjoy being stolen from by being taxed? That's freedom? That's freedom of choice?

I'm questioning ultimate reality.

maybe a better question is: does persuading camgirls to give up gainful employment have any substantial benefit for your life?

even if you were right about any of this, what good would it do you to pontificate about it on what's effectively a porn forum?

if you really want to challenge people or challenge your own delusions, at least try a philosophy forum. even that is just someone-on-the-internet-is-wrong, but it has more chance of doing you any good. (And if your hope is to do anyone else any good, too, then refining your own arguments is critical to that ... if mere pornstars are capable of finding faults in your arguments, it's entirely possible you really haven't got sound enough underpinnings for your worldview ... perhaps too much armchair philosophizing and not enough real-world experience to discover the diversity of human experience -- your remarks on challenges and paychecks take no account of the careers of the most successful people who work as though they love a challenge (Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, etc.), never mind Olympic athletes who challenge themselves daily purely to achieve the pinnacle of their potential).

I object! I see no so-called "pornstars" here. Nothing but rank amateurs.

Anyways, this is pink yoga pants in full sunlight. And it is annoying.

So, yeah, annoying things; are fake squirting shows, be they the result of a model drinking increasing amounts of water as a goal gets ever closer then peeing or reaching for a handful of milk from an offcam saucer at that critical moment or switching to a loaded ejaculating dildo, then pulling the trigger, annoying OR simply selling the fantasy her guys want to see?

annoying OR simply selling the fantasy her guys want to see?

it can be both.

but as always: if you don't like something, tip for a show without it.

probably covered but the most annoying thing a model can do (for me) is start a new thread about a chaturbate ban. Can we just have one mega thread with info on what to do?

Your post probably would have gotten some likes if it weren't for those two statements. It's almost as if you had a look of disgust on your face as you said the words "porn forum" and "(mere) pornstars." Lol.

not at all, just reminding him where he is - this is hardly to be expected to be a bastion of intellectual thought, so what is to be achieved in any respect (helping "sheeple", helping himself, stroking his ego, whatever he has as his goal) by bringing that pseudointellectual rhetoric here?

oh well. I don't pander to anyone when it comes to philosophy. I also like to say Sam Harris is 'a mere neurologist' when people bring him into any discourse on ethics.

Certainly wouldn't have been my first choice. I have been pleasantly surprised though.

Do you plan on incorporating the term "dumb cunts" in any of your future posts as this derailment moves forward?
