Potential rant incoming, yo...

This person, these people... we'll call her/them Cheviju... they like to stress "facts", so I thought it might be fun to present some facts that might illustrate the hypocrisy and bitterness and transparency and counter-productivity of their little pastime, for no other reason than it's sometimes fun to vent, and I know they read the posts of the "self-righteous cunts" (yes, it is staggering, yes, it is hard to believe, and yes, it is funny, but yes, they really did call someone else self-righteous :? ...) that post here.

- Child abuse is a horrendous thing that affects far too many children the world over. Here's a site with some stats on child abuse - https://www.childhelp.org/child-abuse-statistics/ - and contained within that site are a number of ways in which someone who wanted to help might go about doing that. Funnily enough, "conspiring with some online friends to publically shame and humiliate, endanger and attempt to take away the livelihood of an 18 year old girl" isn't listed amongst the things they recommend, but it's an easy mistake to make, I guess. But nevertheless, the fact remains that despite what Cheviju might like you to think, their efforts are not, and have not once been, beneficial to children, abused or otherwise.

- Pedophilia is a horrible thing that no child should ever be affected by. I think most people can accept this as a fact. Age play however, is not pedophilia. No matter how hard you'd like to pretend it is, any act involving two consenting adults is not and can never be considered pedophilia, or child pornography by anyone with a functioning sense of factual comprehension. It is a fact that age play is against MFC's rules, but it's also a fact that MFC have the right to enforce their own rules as rigidly or as fluidly as they choose to at any given time. It's a further fact that Cheviju have no right, legal or otherwise, to dictate to MFC how they handle any given matter.

- Cheviju claim this is "not a witch hunt", and may or may not have been able to do so without bursting into fits of uncontrollable laughter each time they attempted to communicate that sentiment with a straight face. It is however, a fact that one individual in particular has had her birth certificate posted online by Cheviju, been reported to the FBI by Cheviju for engaging in what may or may not have been (legal) age play, been reported to her local sheriff's office for drinking what may or may not have been alcohol, been the subject of a petition designed to strip her of her income, been publically smeared by Cheviju for a wide number of perceived transgressions ranging from "endangering children" to "having small breasts and being skinny", all with a complete disregard for facts and a total reliance on conjecture, hearsay and circumstantial "evidence".

- Before Cheviju formed their coven, [18 year old model] was not well liked. She was viewed as rude, obnoxious, ungrateful and mean-spirited. And she did break MFC's rules. If Cheviju didn't exist, I don't think it's unfair to suggest that [18 year old model] would have received very little support from the camming community and would have been silently condemned. She also wouldn't have benefited from all the promotion and advertising that Cheviju unwittingly provided her (for free and not without considerable effort I have to imagine). It's entirely possible that [18 year old model], without the support of so many of her peers, and camsite members, and without all the extra attention being shone on her by Cheviju, wouldn't even be camming on MFC right now. But that's conjecture. What's factual is that Cheviju have somehow taken a rude, ignorant, ungrateful teenager and painted her as a comparatively innocent, sympathetic figure, unfairly maligned and disproportionately punished by a group of grown women who, at their combined age, really, really should be above all this. They've made her a household name (relatively speaking) and through their own highly questionable actions, have rendered her the lesser of two evils, and the more worthy of public support and compassion.

- This last point isn't a fact, but rather a suggestion for Cheviju. Seek professional help. Please. For your own good and the good of the people around you. These are not the actions of sane individuals. You've become consumed by irrational hatred and it's reached the point where you're literally endangering someone's life now. As much as we all enjoy laughing at your irrationality and lack of self-awareness, it ceases to be funny when you're wilfully leaking information that can lead other mentally unstable people to the person you're trying so hard to demonise :twocents-02cents:

Did anyone else see that bob posted a rant with bullet points and shout at their cat "I NEED MORE COFFEE HOLD ON!"

Juju just blew another gasket on twitter. SO many models just told to fuck off.
Ironically one her tweets shed light on her true motives. She couldn't care less about underage role play or drinking. She's just another hypocrite trying to make a buck off the controversy. She really is quite pathetic.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but this thread seems to be the current discussion. Had a good chuckle when I read it. From Juju and Violet Doll's twitter

Like really cam girls, ageism is not cool. Stop being bitches. You'll be 40 someday too. Have respect for women of all ages.

Oh lordy. She made that tweet after I said a 40+ year old woman shouldn't act the way Juju was. Apparently saying a woman who has been on this planet for 40+ years should be more mature than a kid who has been on this planet for 18 years is ageism. Err  Then the argument was that 18 is an adult too.

C'mon now...18 is still such a kid!

This subject is taking over so many topics now!

Wow... I've only been camming for a year, but I've never heard of a cammodel being and acting so selfish.

Models who become bitter and jaded when they don't get exactly what they wanted and so anoint themselves official arbitrator for all things MFC, using their moral superiority to decide for other people what is and is not acceptable, and then wilfully and very publically post the birth certificate of an 18 year old model who had the audacity, the audacity to drink something that might have been alcohol on cam, are just the worst.

Not all models live in USA, so the legal age is not always 21. Also not all countries or states or counties within are as strict as others. In fact, some states in the south even have drive-thru stores where you can get a beer! :? :snooty: Also in Japan it's 20, but carding pretty much isn't a thing, and you can get whatever you want as a teen, but you will get into a lot of trouble for being underage if you make a complete ass out of yourself in public. I know Ireland and Canada are both 18, which seems to be a common age in most countries.

Luth, Bob was cryptically (or maybe not so cryptically) talking about a specific model doing very specific things. In this instance, he knew that they were both American models. Regardless, I don't think he's really bothered by the underage drinking aspect of it, but more bothered by the bitter and jaded model's actions regarding it. He's pretty laid back; this is why they say the Dude abides.

Earlier this month, I met a new model on MFC (age 18). Yesterday I happened to catch a gallery pic., of her holding up an enlarged copy of her own drivers licence. I wonder if this was the 18 year old? Next time I see her on will ask about it.
There is nothing going on with her twitter account so it may not be her, but a very odd coincidence.

Found her ...sent her here...even with blocking some details, told her it was risky.

What I personally find extremely annoying is this:

Sometimes I check out other models just to see what they're up to.
And every once in a while I find a model that does: that weird, strongly exaggerated, tongue motion where they lick their top lip very slowly... I'm sorry, but I find that so cheesy and I feel like they're overdoing it when they do this.

Also when a model doesn't talk to their room when people are trying to talk to her, that is so rude.

But hey, maybe that's just me. :twocents-02cents:

I just noticed these from several days ago, so replying a bit late:

I personally dislike it when models call out silent lurkers. I get that you like people to at least say hello, but to me, someone who says nothing is not causing a problem. The people I like to see called out are the ones who don't tip and keep demanding attention.

I was wondering if it would bother someone like you if I had a bunch of people sitting quietly in my room and I said something along the lines of "It's okay to say hi!" to encourage people to talk to me? I don't want to make anyone feel bad, but it's hard to entertain in a silent room

No, that sounds fine as long as it's in a friendly tone. It's only when it's singling someone out or sounding angry about it that it would bother me. By the way, although I'm very shy in person, I'm not all that shy on the internet, so it's not typically me that's getting called out -- I'm probably already talking at least a little. I just kind of automatically empathize with how it would be for someone who might be feeling inhibited.

I've come across this one a couple times recently, and it's fairly annoying. Say I ask the model if she likes anal [snip]

My go-to answer for this in a PM is "I have a 17 minute HD anal video for 250 tokens!". Would that annoy you guys a ton? I always assume guys asking in PM if I do anal are either looking for a private show or asking if I'll do it in public chat. (Basically, if a guy is asking me for anal the only way he's gonna get it is via my video or wait til the once in a blue moon that I do it in a live show.)

On my profile I state right near the top of the page:

"I only do ANAL a few times a year. It's a big deal when I do it, and is in a pre-planned show."
and
"I don't do privates, Skype shows, or watch cams."

so I feel it's a fair reply from me but am willing to listen to feedback.

Sounds like a good reply to me. As someone else mentioned, it might be good to also mention that you don't do privates and rarely do that in public, just so they know. Even if you have something in your profile, we know that lots of people don't read those and even if they do, they may not have read it recently enough to remember details. I always read profiles once, but I don't often read them again unless the model specifically calls attention to some updates.

As an aside (this is an annoying thing members do, not models), it always amazes me when a model is clearly in the middle of something, has a big room count, and someone bursts in and say "pvt?" :woops:

I dont know if anyone else is bothered by this but one that im noticing more and more is some models who like to have giant watermarks or scrolling text banners with whatever deals are on or the hightipper details that they either couldnt fit or just didnt want to put in the topic.

Some models even put one at the top and bottom and then a quarter of the video section is lost and the screen window is already pretty small as it is.

Anyway not like its a huge deal but its just kind of annoying when the good bits get blocked away.

I agree. I can understand having a noticeable watermark since there's so much recording and pirating of shows, but I'd rather the screen remain uncluttered besides that. I also don't care for the picture-in-picture thing some models do. I think it's often used for close-ups during shows from public places. I haven't actually been in a room while that's going on, but I've noticed it in a lot of previews and always think that would be really annoying to watch.

There are a lot of things models can do that can be annoying or get boring fast, but here are my not so favorites:

PMing immediately when you enter a model's room.. I prefer to chat in the chatroom, not in PM unless it's about things that are meant to be provate.

Gross lying: I know.. we all stretch the truth a bit here and there.. and no one ever has to tell me where exactly their home adress is, but claiming to be in a country 8 timezones away, or claiming to have an education level that clearly you don't possess, or seriously stretching one's age.. just doesn't do it for me. Be honest, be yourself and chances are people are going to like you for it anyway...

And I understand the watermarking of streams.. but please, at least pause that when we enter a private.

At this point, I don't expect anything to come of "debating" with this person but some tweets are too good not to share...

"The problem with this #debate is once a valid point is made the other side goes running 4 cover instead of conceding. #childish #growup #wtf" - Cheviju

I mean... can you even?... cos I can't... this is coming from the woman who deleted comments from her blog that disagreed with her, who set up a poll asking whether people agreed with her but didn't list "no" as an option, and whose only reply to people on Twitter who calmly explain to her why she's wrong, backing their arguments with facts in the process, is "fuck you" and to label them a "cunt"... if she's not the most comically un-self-aware person on the planet, she's the greatest troll who ever lived. There is no middle ground at this point

I never know what counts as begging.

I think that even though some dudes are quick to call stuff begging ("waaat? she said she has to go in 90 minutes unless she finishes her countdown? what a beggar.") even when it isn't.

IMO, begging is outright asking for money or gifts for free, or pleading with members to buy what you have for sale. If you are offering anything in return, like videos or a show, then saying stuff like "Just a reminder, I have a new video for 300 tokens!" or, "I'm going to go ahead and leave in 30 minutes unless we get some more work done on the countdown" isn't beggy at all.

But when stuff starts happening like, "Can someone just send me some offline tips today? I'm not feeling up to camtime! Thanks!" or, "I'm so below my goal today, can someone please please pleeeeease just buy some videos? I'm so sad and I don't know what to do, I just need tokens and nobody likes me, I just wish I could sell these videos."

Yes yes, this bothers me. Felt a little nervous seeing people complain about "begging" and writing off begging as basically treating camming as my job, which it is. It bothers me when models say stuff like the last paragraph "can you just tip me? I'm not up to camming today" but reminding people about a timer or tip menu items or you pay x and you get this I don't see as begging. I've asked for e-gift cards for my wish list before but made it very clear that yeah I want that gift card, but you would get a custom photoset in return…or yeah my goal is high, but as a reminder if we reach it I'll be stripping down completely (you're in my room and don't want that? what? crazy talk). For me that's not begging, it's just doing my job.
I would never ask for tips without anything in return though <__< I can't believe some girls do that.

Yesterday I saw a model who was streaming a pre-recorded video of her and a dildo on the beach!

(Initially I saw the preview and was like: 'Get in! I'd love to do a show on the beach!' and then after 2 mins I realized it was
pre-recorded :().

I do trailers in my room of my vids, and recently started even playing some of them if I'm busy setting up for a show. It's actually a great way to promote your stuff and get a little mini break in at the same time.

I mean, it's one thing to try to pretend like it's not a recording, but as long as the girl is upfront about the fact that it's a video I don't see a problem.

From the rules:
Models trying to deceive members by playing recorded video instead of actually being live on webcam will be immediately banned, without payment

I think the keyword is deceive. It can go completely different ways depending on how you present it. :twocents-02cents:

Well apart from the crazy shit that Juju is doing which REALLY annoys me.

I have to say that other models that say their regulars are 'cheating' on them but watching or tipping another model/going to a strip club etc etc really gets on my nerves. Girls - these guys are NOT your boyfriends/sugar daddies or whatever. They are your customers and they are allowed to spend THEIR money wherever the hell they please!

It drives me nuts when models talk bad about other models publicly.

Where is the love?
Do agree, but wanted to add a bit.
Private badmouthing of other models I really hate too. Whatever is said usually has no effect on my view of the other model at all anyway, I'm sometimes curious to find out for myself but reserve judgement until I experience it myself.

Besides all that telling may have the opposite effect, the member may find the behaviour thrilling.... after all the most interesting models are often those who misbehave most.
