Do any of the SM models dress up or decorate for the holidays? I don't know much about the general vibe other than it's more one on one than other cam sites. For some reason the question popped into mind so here we are.
Are there contests and things like that or no?
Yes, there are usually contests. For the majority of models, the competition goes up a lot, so you work harder to make the same. But to be 100% transparent, that isn't
always the case, only
often the case. The models at the very top, are usually the only ones who make more, from what they have reported back etc. And the ones who have, are trustworthy (imo) and have backed up what they said with screenshots, so I do believe them. It kind of tracks with my personal numbers too. I'm not a top model, even though I'm 1st page, and the contests I have gone all-in on have been very difficult to even break even, like a normal week with. I don't count winnings as "winnings" if they only break you even with an average week, and make up the difference of way more models being online, being pitted against each other. That kind of advertising manipulation doesn't work on me, because I run numbers and base everything solely on math.
So many people don't go all out on buying costumes etc, unless they did it for something else in their personal life. People will throw on a few simple things for the most part. There are a few holidays around the end of the year, that in the past were exceptions, and where very few models participated, because they were mainly all off traveling or celebrating with family. However, these days, I'm not sure I would count on that as much anymore, because things are more competitive than ever, and more models than ever are putting in solid hours and prioritizing their finances, due to political and economic factors.
For many of the contests, yes, your room and appearance have to be somewhat themed for you to be considered part of them. But not all. SM does contests every few weeks, regardless of whether there is a holiday or not, so many do not require constumes or themed rooms too.
