By the way, I've started camming couple of weeks ago, ran 3 shows and finally recieved a first tip :) First 3 tips in a row, honestly. On my 3rd show.
I thought noone will ever tip me because I am a straight guy. But I was so happy to realize that someone really likes watching me.
So do you guys have any advices on how to attract more audience? Or it just takes time?

Hello! brand new model here. I have only been camming for a couple of weeks. I have had good nights and bad so far. Just checking this place out for advice

Hihi~ I'm Fitz.

Member on MFC, was looking around teh internets for additional ways to lend support, rather than just tokens.

This came up as a super nifty well of information, so wanted to make an account so can be part of the community to be able to participate in discussion and hopefully ask questions and receive answers about ways to provide assistance.

Thank you, AmberCutie, for creating this forum.

Lookin' forward to the future, Fitz

I don't regard my self as "one of those guys" I would be working for the models, helping, supporting and developing them, it's a great industry one I want to be part of, I could be a model but I don't think I would get a lot of business...maybe watch this space ...

Somebody needs to perform this function especially for new models who have no knowledge or desire to learn the technical, admin side, also someone that treats and helps the models fairly, I hear so many stories of models getting screwed by studios.

I have already helped models with ideas and written profiles, good creative photos etc for free. Not all models have the knowledge, time or even desire to do more than their show,, hmm repeating myself now....

If you have never cammed you do not have the knowledge or skills either.

I love cooking shows. I watch a lot of them. Especially like the restraunt nightmares and stuff. I sit in my armchair and go "HOLY FUCKING SHIT DUDE! How could you let the white sauce curdle. Don't you know to add a pinch of salt. Omg!" ... and i think of all kinds of awesome strategies to help rescue failing restraunts. I have opinions about what they should and shouldn't do.

I don't then set myself up as a consultant. I wouldn't even expect anyone to listen to me for free. Because it's very easy for me to have all the opinions in the world about cooking but if i've never fucking done it, I don't know shit.

If a new chef was too lazy to do his own research and learn his craft, I would watch him fall on his ass. Because to be a good chef you have to be dedicated to learning your craft. Camgirls need to learn their craft too. From other chefs. Not from me, in my armchair. Maybe he's a great chef but not a great manager. He could hire someone to help him manage his restaurant. But he should not hire me. he should hire someone with management AND food experience.

To be an studio manager you should have experience IN camming and in management. That is, if you don't want to be 'one of those guys'. You should listen to the models who are telling you what we need.

Actual skills cammodels will pay for help with include technical skills like coding, skilled editing for videos, accounting services, bookeeping, and in the case of studios, providing equipment and a safe, clean place to work though I am of the opinion that studios work best when run by former or current camgirls.

If you want to support models, tip us. You then said "Somebody needs to perform this function especially for new models" ---- we do. That's what this forum is for. That's what camgirl run and operated twitters, books, forums, sites and events are for. If you want to support a new model send them to resources like this forum which will help them with real world advice and help from actual cammodels. Help put them in charge, in the drivers seat of their own business by empowering them to make decisions, and learn the skills from people within the industry. Empower them to seek out their own information rather than spoon feeding them your own.

Hiii there :) My name is Peachy, I just started out on MFC. Like, JUST started, only a few days ago. So far I am really enjoying myself, even while struggling with my cam score lol. I am 23 years old and I feel like camming is the right next step for me to become more independent and self-sufficient on my own terms. I began researching webcam modeling a year ago and became mesmerized with seeing all these amazing people so in control and confident in what they are doing; as I learn more I hope to become a part of this wonderful community! :)))

Lancer is my name, but Amber has called me "Dancer" at least 5 times since I joined her room. Luckily she has fixed her error, but nicknames stick, I hear. Hopefully her cheerleading memories will keep my name straight in her mind. Lol

Hello my name is Victoria and I'm just a horny nerdy dude in a girls body...
Well, that sounds really interesting. I'd love to hear more from you.
The thing is, I often heard of girls in a dudes bodies (I am note sure, maybe I am also potentially one of them). But I swear I have never met dudes in a girls body for my entire life!
You must be the luckiest person ever!

You heard me. Introduce yourself!

The best posts in an introduction thread include more than just your name, so give us a little more if you're feeling up to it. ;)

If you're an active cam model looking for verification, info/instructions are here - Model Verification Requests - but please remember you won't be able to post your verification until you've been signed up at ACF for a period of time, and after you've made a good handful of thread posts. So get active! :)
I'm IBBYIBBY and I like BBW models

omg you totally are one of those guys. hahaha

@mankey33 I remember being approached by a so called "advisor" in a trade show a while ago. He had a business card, and he told me has so many hundreds of models he represents. The only suspicion was that everyone either avoided or ignored him. A that point I just avoided his blurry explanations, as it was unclear what he wanted, and even less clear what he could give in return.
Chilax and enjoy this awesome place, there's no need for dramatics just yet.
Someone who is a good studio representative will start by using his own name for starters, and have respect for the trade and the hard working people in it, and I'm just a sublet in it. You're lucky you're here and not being grilled by Samantha in Xbiz right now :)

I'm terrible at first impressions but here goes.

Hello --- TinyMartianSlut here.

I've cammed very infrequently since college (back then a handful of times with my bf). Presently, I'm on month three of actually trying to build a career of this. So good luck to me.

I love camming. I love porn. I love kink and exhibitionism. The adult industry is my world and I belong to it.

I have dabbled with several websites, like nightflirt and mygirlfund and lost interest quickly. As I've made pornos since high school school I fittingly have a PornHub & ManyVids account. My designated streaming site is Chaturbate.

My room is designated as an otaku / nerd-friendly space. My goal is to make enough money to appear in cosplay twice a week. And to have a very anime-focused room.

All-in-all, I have a lot to learn.

XXX,
TMS
