Heya everyone!
My name is Star and I used to cam about 3 years ago under a different name. I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. I had a security issue, and it scared the shit out of me so I quit and started working retail. I'm done with that shit now, and want to get back to doing what I want to, and working a schedule that I want to. I've done so much more research this time and have so many plans. I'm so excited to get started! My application to MFC has been approved, I just have to get it all set up once I'm done setting my cam room up. Back before when I didn't know what I was doing, I was on CB and about to make the switch to MFC.
I do have some questions about how to go about selling videos, specifically the difference between selling them on MFC vs ManyVids. I don't want to post questions where they don't belong, but from my 2am weary understanding I am limited in what I can post as I'm a newbie to this wonderful website. SO! If anyone could pm me, I would super appreciate it.

Should also add that I'm currently (mostly) using flirt4free and pondering if I want to do streamate or not. I keep seeing conflicting things about it.

I'm Jasmine and I started camming on both Chaturbate and MyFreeCams this July. Now I cam full time on MFC. It's not an easy task splitting your attention between the two! But maybe I'm just inexperienced lol. Anyway I'm absolutely loving my journey as a webcam model so far. I came across this amazing site when googling random camming related stuff and I've already gained SO much helpful information just from browsing the public threads.

If you're an active cam model looking for verification, info/instructions are here - Model Verification Requests - but please remember you won't be able to post your verification until you've been signed up at ACF for a period of time, and after you've made a good handful of thread posts. Hiiii ACF participants, fresh meat here! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience and for cultivating a supportive space to make my leap into this new venture as stress-free as possible.

I'm Cutie (for now, at least), 28 f from the U.S., and I started broadcasting on Chaturbate two weeks ago. I have been pretty proactive about educating myself on the ins and outs of camming since my debut, and I'm so grateful a resource like this is here for us to share best (and worst) practices and recommendations, and most importantly - to know we are not alone!

I already feel extremely protective over models who may not have taken the time to do their research. I hate the idea of others getting taken advantage of, and I've been lucky to have a couple of experienced moderators give me valuable guidance and advice, and so far, I have managed to stay alert and aware of potentially shady visitors in my room. It's a tough balance, protecting myself but also being warm and open. I'm enjoying the experience so far and am just holding on for the ride...
