Do you understand what this means? Dating site guys will think we all want to be their girlfriend which is probably the furthest thing from the truth. They will not be able to make the distinction between "Hot webcam girl" and "girl who really actually wants to hook up".

You make it sound like I'm shackled to a bed while strangers whip pennies at me and that hardly ever happens.

Just say this:

"We've got this site called camplace.com. We don't have a lot of traffic right now because we're new, but the site's got some decent functionality. For example, you can upload vids and sell them through the site, which is cool because you won't have to worry about tracking tip notes and sending vids out. And while it would be cooler if we linked the stats in the sidebar to the vids themselves, instead of forcing users to open the static profile from the main page, we're working on it. (Also, our stats are totally off, but whatever.)

the site itself didn't look so bad but it is still juvenile. Like someone said there are no rules, and the traffic is very low (which is expected for a new site)

Like the other model said if you had put a more realistic description of your site maybe you would have been more successful.
You don't want just any traffic, so paying for ads to advertise on escort and dating sites is a waste of money. Your bread and butter are experienced cam girls that already have a following.
If you get them on board you raise your credibility and your $$$$
Most of them thought make really good money on MFC or streamate or other sites and it does not make sense to them to spend time on a new site. When it comes to camming time is money.
Maybe if you pay these girls 90% for life plus referrals it might sound like a better deal. Or even better pay them a flat fee to be on your site.
