I live my life perpetually feeling like I need to prove that I am a good person, to people who I don't even know, like in almost a motorized, unhealthy neurotic way. I guess that is one of the downsides to being a cam model and the stereotypes that go along with this as a career. But I perpetually feel the need to work so, so hard just to prove the things about my character, which would basically be taken for granted about it (my character) if I worked in pretty much any other career.

That part of being a sex worker sucks. However, there are lot of positives which make up for it.

I guess I kinda wanted to put that thought out there, because I was wondering if other SWs have this same experience, and also feel this constant need to prove that they are not a bad person. Basically due to societal stigmas etc, as well as the reality that many people unconsciously believe that sex workers are somehow bad, or immoral. I even feel it from other models sometimes, and man it hurts even worse in that case, but I understand. It's not gonna change a thing, regarding my long term career choices, but it is definitely a downside to the work. Other groups have it way worse, so I should not complain.

@EliMarie717 Yes, I can certainly relate and it's almost as if I'm setting ppl up for the day they finally find out and can say "well, she's a good person".
That puts it into the perfect words, thanks for sharing that.

Good evening all,

I'm moving soon which will put me in a position to begin camming, so I'm doing a bunch of research to prep myself better than the last time I cammed (about 3 years ago). I've read through business sense, budgeting and tax savings, and personality and attitude on cam. Where should I move onto??? Any suggestions???

Goodness, I wish I could start camming now. It's so exhilarating and appeasing to my social needs (not just because of this pandemic), and as well, it gives me an opportunity to learn more about myself and what I enjoy. But patience is inevitable. I would start now, however 1)I'm living with my parents atm, 2) my husband doesn't feel comfy with me doing it without his assistance and watchful eye, and 3) I need to make sure that I've got my routine in check, because I've only recently begun treatment for bi-polar 1, and I want to make sure that I am capable of succeeding (unlike last time.... what a mess.)

So, yeah. I'm finally gotten the help that I need, and am super excited to get back into the game! :h::h::h:

Lighting is another important topic. Have you already researched cameras and equipment? That is another really important topic too. It also might be worth your time to learn about the major clipsites (C4S - www.clips4sale.com, IWC - www.iwantclips.com, MV - www.manyvids.com, and PH/MH - Pornhub/ Modelhub).

Idk if you already have a site in mind, that you used before, but it's also worth researching OBS studio if you plan on streaming to a site that would use that encoder. I recently downloaded it and found it was a lot more complicated than I had expected it to be.

Israel is one of those countries I wish I could have explored more when I was there, but things were busy then and even worse now. For various reasons the Levant has a big piece of my heart, but it was always a fickle mistress. Good luck with your studies!

I've got lighting down. Hubby bought me a whole setup for that, and when positioned properly, works like a charm. I definitely will need to look into all of those other topics. I'm already apart of manyvids and pornhub. is that enough, or should i think about joining more clipsites? OMG, OBS is almost impossible! Would you happen to recommend an article that is simple and understandable, because all the articles that I've read are pretty complex in their explanation (or I'm just dumb. lol)

Thanks for your help, btw!

Even though I've been camming 6 years, I only justs started w OBS too, so hopefully someone else can chime in and help us both w that one. I still don't understand it. My Boyfriend plans on using it for his Twitch channel, and he is having the same issues. So it's not just us, OBS is very difficult to fully understand. I got so overwhelmed a few weeks ago, that I gave up, but I do need to figure it out. One thing I did learn a few weeks ago is definitely DO NOT go on a click rampage, changing settings, when you first download it. I did and it completely F***** up my stream, and then I could not remember all the things which I changed, to even be able to change them back. When you download it, just experiment with one feature at a time, and write down what you changed each time. Go real slow, or you might risk losing your mind like I did. I'm not even kidding I was literally trying to pull my hair out and had to put myself on a break because I stressed myself out SO bad. It's really exciting to have so many options, but resist the urge to go on a click happy riot.

Personally I have always done decent on clips4sale too. I recommend it. But I did join over 5 years ago. I think the least I have ever made in a month there is $400, so it's been good to me. I jump all over the site categories, making all kinds of random stuff, and that technique has always worked for me. All these clip sites are about quantity and how often you upload, for the most part. I would recommend iwantclips.com if you do Femdom at all too.

I have been using OBS for years and it is pretty much the only program I do use for streaming. (not a fan of Logi or Streamlabs)
Completely understand how it can get frustrating and even I forget stuff from time to time.

Here are a few videos that should help out.

I would say this guy does a pretty good job of walking you through how to set everything up. (Enjoy him for a lot of various streaming tips actually)

This video is shorter and he goes through things a bit quicker but does a good job explaining and showing you onscreen what he is doing.

Otherwise, if you have any questions I would be happy to help as well.

Everyone who survives this year deserves an "I survived 2020" T-shirt.

Fires are raging everywhere. The air is awful.
More people and animals are dying, and 1000s are losing their homes
Where I am, the sky is yellow all day long, and even the indoor air smells like a bunch of BBQs are going on right outside the window.
Where are all these people who have lost everything going to go? I am so worried. This is so heartbreaking  All these poor animals too ...

Been trying to lose some weight for camming but some days the most i can do is watch what i eat. Though, I'm trying and its becoming noticeable. I love to exercise when I'm motivated, but this week has just been dragging, it seems. I want to be the best I can be, but it's hard when you're catching up on sleep and not waking when you're suppose to. I wish I had a friend to do these things with, but I don't have many friends, and the ones I consider to be don't exercise. You know, I figure things will come together in the end, but right now just sucks a bit.

I want more than anything to be with my family again. Hubby is my best friend, and he would do what it takes to help motivate me, but he and my daughter is already a motivator, even being far away. Soon enough and I'll be in a better position. I love my family so much, and I'm such a lucky girl to have them in my life.

I'm too excited for camming. Reading up on OBS today, and checking my accounts. I'm losing followers! But, of course, that's to be expected when you haven't been camming and posting. I should post on my social media about my plans to start back up again. But I don't have a set date, and I can't come up with one just yet because I'm not sure when I'm moving. Super frustrating. What would I say? Should I just post pics and keep it simple until I have a plan? That seems like a good idea.

That's all I've got for the day. I hope tomorrow I feel better. I wish everyone a good night!

Thank youuu. This is so helpful. If I have any other questions regarding OBS, I'll definitely bark up your tree trunk. lol

I did a 3 day water fast and lost 9 pounds. That's a pound every 8 hours.

Season 2 of The Boys starts today which is great as I just had a 84" TV monitor delivered.
I was wondering if it stayed off (that is if you don't mind sharing)?

In 2 hours I will be done w a 24 hour water fast. I used to do them regularly, and I actually found that the weight would stay off unless I went crazy overeating for several days afterward. Everybody's body is different. I used to do 24 hour water fasts once a week, for many years. I did them for a combination of spiritual reasons, and aesthetics. Anyways thanks for posting this and inspiring me. It's been years since I even did a 24 hour quickie, and I feel so good! I did not weigh myself, so not sure how much weight I lost.

I want to try a longer 2 or 3 day fast, but I have a birthday meal this evening, for my best friend, so I have to break this one soon. Honestly, I'm not even hungry though.

Whatever happened to Fabio? He used to be like the big thing?
I used to always see him on the front of books, riding around on horses and shit. Maybe romance is dead.
No one ever even talks about Fabio anymore.
I bet if more men rode around on horses, like the old days, we would have a more romantic world again...

Sadly, like the rest of us, got old and... :(

I was just coming here to say that I hope anyone here who lives in areas impacted by the fires are safe, and will not be immediately impacted such as loss of property or life. Where I'm at, it's incredibly smoky and have no way of avoiding the smoke. Best I can do is have a window open with a fan blowing outward. Far from perfect. But, I don't have A/C and if I close the windows it'll be hot and I'll still be inhaling smoke.

Sadly, I know a few of my coworkers have lost houses. But, are otherwise okay. The past few years have been terrible for fires on the West Coast. :(

I have AC but there is no point in even having it on. I've been living on Zofran, tylenol and singulair for days now. I have a home nebulizer, so that is a comfort. I don't think you are missing much by not having AC. I have units, but everyone I know with central air is suffering too. Frankly, I can't even lay down in the rooms of my house with units installed, because they have even more smoke in the air, than the other rooms, so its best to just leave the doors shut, and the units off.

It feels like the world is closing in, but honestly compared to the loss all around me, I am grateful that I have not had to evacuate... yet. You stay safe too Force, and don't hesitate to evacuate if needed. Anyone who is in an evac zone, waiting even a few hours can cost lives. The property doesn't matter, compared to the potential loss of lives   Please everyone remember your pets too. Please no one be in denial, hesitation could and has, cost lives.
