we tell people who have sex with cammodels to get a tattoo too. sex can be used for manipulation so it's not really a tell that it's serious. i also assume most people who are visiting cammodels are having sex with them. may it be a blossoming relationship, a love con, or an escort situation. we are adults here. we know what adults can do together. you mentioning amazing sex comes across as bragging and moot.
Oh sure I think it's a great idea to write about how shitty Colombia is and on top of that mention it's ok to ask about a model's family contact information. You wouldn't ask a normal model for that, but it's Colombians, am I right?

Agreed. It flies in the face of every experience I've ever had when visiting Colombia based models. Always polite, decent and hard working. And as a result of a friendship with a model in Colombia, I've also interacted with a lot of Colombians who aren't models. Again, they couldn't be more decent. In my experience, a lot of things about Colombia are a lot better than in other parts of the world.
I don't think it's a great idea to write that to foreigners. Maybe if you find a sweet spot with the writing, you could use that as a tool to stop incentives on sex tourism which would be great, but just writing horror stories about scams is bound to hurt the countries image even more, and as a consequence, the image people have on Colombian models. It can be a double edged sword.
Oh for sure! I'm not in Colombia but close and it's funny how foreigners always say "oh but you have such great weather" and "oh but people are so friendly". Yeah it's all great until you need healthcare, public transportation, customer service... But most of them will never live that because their money will always get them the VIP services.Oh sorry different kind of horror stories, nothing to do with scams but rather crazy situations foreigners find themselves in that surprise them. Definite incentive to stop sex tourism

I'm assuming you are Colombian. I'm only speaking from personal experience but my experience with models in Colombia has been fantastic. Great people, great sense of humour, always very polite. When people treat you like that then it's very easy to support them.

Where I live, all we get told about Colombia is pretty much horror stories, I didn't use to talk to anyone from there at all, then I started talking to one girl from there, and realized there's SO SO much more to the country, than what we learn here.. and it's so sad that we do not look at hte beautiful sites of the country. I have now talked to MANY different people in Colombia, and they are NO different than anywhere else in the world when it comes to scamming etc, because EVERY country have people that do these shitty things! it's time to stop treating people from there differently than you would anywhere else imo!

One thing I really love about Colombia is the level of service that you receive. I've sent a few little gifts to my friend there and the customer service is out of this world. It's helped by the incredibly high levels of Whatsapp use. Every business from the smallest to the largest has a Whatsapp number than you can contact with questions. Usually the response is almost instant and always helpful. It's a level of customer service we should ponder in the so called "first world" where if you need any help with an order or a service you have to sit in a 45 minute call queue of "Press 1 for.... Press 2 for.....".
It is indeed, but the scale of it is so different from country to country..
Don't want to hijack the thread, but I think it's the 'apparent' scale that varies. Corruption is often more insidious in countries that outwardly like to make out that they have it under control and it's less of a problem.
Customer service is not better in Colombia. Many companies do not care about quality or your complaints, what you going to do post a review? Many here pay no attention to reviews. The thing about Whatsapp is true but that's just cause it's free and it's easier to organize payment since most don't accept cards and they do bank transfers. You can't always get a live rep that can help you with larger companies, calling your isp is still a nightmare and you'll be doing it more often since most modems here are completely locked down.
