Hey everyone,
I was directed here by a moderator from the r/Chaturbate subreddit after submitting a detailed report to CB support that’s been ignored for over 5 days now — despite the issue escalating daily.

My situation (as short as I can make it):

I used to work under a studio account — nickname: @cloverfarewell.
On that account, I was consistently on the front page, sometimes top-5 — I streamed daily, worked hard, and built up a strong following. But behind the scenes:
  • I had no control over the account or earnings
  • The producer made repeated unwanted sexual advances
  • When I refused and tried to quit, he started pressuring me emotionally, then locked me out of everything
  • I was not paid for the last few weeks, kicked out of the shared place, and the entire account was taken from me

I left with nothing — no login, no promo, no fanbase, no income.

What’s happening now:

I launched a new, independent account: @onlykirari
— no studio
— no middlemen
— streaming entirely alone
— all content and setup is mine
— the only "partner" I have is a personal.. friend who helps with technical setup (not a co-streamer or manager)

On day 2 of going live, I hit the front page without any promo. And that’s when the nightmare restarted.

What they’ve done since:

  • Sent mocking and degrading messages, some with threats like: “If I need to find you – I will”
  • Called me “a product that was stolen”
  • Accused my friend of "stealing their model"
  • Began mass-disliking my stream from multiple accounts, dragging my visibility into the dirt
  • Multiple accounts involved are clearly part of their network — using the same VPN / location (North Holland)

I collected screenshots of everything and translated all relevant messages.

What I’ve done:

  • Sent a PDF report to CB support with:
    • Account links
    • Harassment messages
    • VPN traces
    • Proof that I now stream alone
  • Explained that I am no longer affiliated with any studio
  • Stated clearly that I don’t want contact with them again — due to harassment and safety concerns

Yet after all this, my ticket has been completely ignored for 5+ days.

Why I’m posting here:

I’ve been on CB for years. On @cloverfarewell, I was always on the front page, worked full time, and poured everything into it.
Now, after going solo — starting over from scratch — I’m stuck in the bottom ranks, with my new account being mass-sabotaged by my former studio, and CB support hasn’t even replied.

I don’t want special treatment. I just want a fair chance to work. No mass dislikes. No threats. No shadows from the past.

If any CB staff/mod here can assist — I’d be deeply grateful.

I can share the full PDF + details via DM, if that helps.

Thank you so much for reading,
— Only_KiraRi

While I'm not always a fan of how CB Support does things, they have been good about handling this kind of harassment towards models and both blocking the harassing users -- even those behind VPNs -- and reversing any negative ratings those users left. So I hope @punker barbie and CB Support will come through for you @Only_KiraRI.

That said, the real problem is the rating system.

An anonymous, low-cost (both tokens and time) ratings system that allows daily negative ratings where those negative ratings have 19x more impact than positive ones only benefits people who want to abuse it and/or flex their entitlement.

I've seen the ratings system abused by studios to punish models who have gone independent.

I've seen the ratings system abused by models to punish other models they are jealous of.

I've seen the ratings system abused by viewers to punish models when a model's range doesn't include the thing they want the model to do.

I've seen the ratings system abused by stalkers to punish models when a model rebuffs them and/or won't reveal personal or location information.

There are no positives for models in this ratings system, only increased anxiety over the loss of income that a few malicious or entitled downvotes can bring. There are no positives for anyone except malicious actors and entitled assholes.

@punker barbie CB really should remove the rating system and either not have one at all or replace it with one that genuinely reflects the quality of a model's show.

As a 12 year veteran who was on the site before the rating system was in place...

There are too many models hurt than helped with this system.

Would it be a step in the right direction, assuming that CB won’t remove the thumbs altogether, if they simply made it a *significantly* higher cost to give a rating (I’m thinking 500+, 1000+, what have you) or give a ratings multiplier based upon the rate-giver’s spent tokens that day (ie, the 1k tipper thumb’s up is equivalent to 40 individual 25tk thumb’s down)?

1. Ratings should not be anonymous, at least not towards the broadcaster
2. Ratings should not count negatively unless there is an explanation attached, and it should be a written one, not some given choices (like when you report)
3. Ratings (negative) that are obviously copy pasted cancel each other out
4. Broadcaster should have the ability to appeal/challenge negative ratings

Hello @Only_KiraRI Support has responded to your email ticket no. 24626041. Note that continuing to send tickets and responses to your own tickets moves your email further back in the queue. I guess I'll leave this here, I can't think of a more appropriate thread. If Amber knows, feel free to move it.

Case and point.png

It didn't hit me as hard because I have had very nice people thumbsuping me after mentioning the potential problem. If they weren't voting, that would be below 95%.

I think you're making a very important point here, namely that the vast majority of thumbs up are not given as an indicators of the merits of the broadcaster or their show but rather as buffers against thumbs down. It's the natural consequence of a purely punitive rating system like this, i.e., the semantics of the ratings themselves have become entirely disconnected from their context.

I've thought about contacting support to get both of them removed because I deserved neither of them. One happened the night they rolled out the new app layout thing and shit wasn't working so someone thought they weren't winning my in app game even though they were and I was doing the action and then the second one was because Lovense didn't connect and I didn't know he tipped while I was in a PM with someone else. It's extremely unfair.

I think it was one of the people purposefully helping me but it could have been someone from yesterday who was new and thought WTF?

If @punker barbie barbie could magically make them disappear I wouldn't be mad at that LOL
