Will someone from chaturbate pretend to be a user to bait me?

Sry if this has been talked about, I didn't know how to search it.

I've had a couple warnings in the past and one seemed really odd. A user asked me how to contact me outside of chaturbate, and I just said you can follow me in any of the places in my bio as I usually would. They asked again differently sort of and got me to phrase my answer differently the next time and BAM instantly my stream was off and I had the warning message on my screen. Would that be an disgruntled insecure user or chaturbate putting fear into our eyes?

My other warning was obviously a user for some reason. lol and then they tried harassing me with like 10 accounts and only benefited from it by shutting off the chat for people without tokens, and my show has been better ever since. But since that chat about the contacting me, I've had several users I've never seen before come in and just talk suspiciously af since then, like a comedically dumb undercover officer asking for drugs and when I give the automated safe answer they leave right away.

I do a few other services outside of chaturbate, and I'm scarred to even offer them most the time. I do to a select good few. I've had a few bad ones talk too loosely about it with me on cb and I fear anyone new would just do the same.

Anyone that works for CB will NEVER try to contact you or warn you in public chat. There are grey accounts that go around the rooms trying to scam models by saying they work for CB.Screen Shot 08-20-25 at 07.31 PM.JPG

I doubt CB is sending people into rooms and purposely discussing things that are against their terms of service to bait models into getting themselves banned, if they didn't want you on site any more they would just ban you and be done with it. Your warnings were triggered by the AI software that trolls chat for key words that break the rules or someone saw the conversation and reported you for it, but that doesn't mean it was staff.

I figured there was ai software or something watching the chat. I should have made a screen shot so I could remember what and how I said it that triggered it. It just had me worried when I would get viewers almost seeming that they were trying to trigger me to say something I shouldn't. lol

You have to understand the average viewer has a hard cock in their hand and their brain is on stand by. Some are intentionally trying to lure you off but most people are just doing stupid things because their dick is hard.

Be sure to know the ToS and you shouldn't have to worry about users trying to bait you or saying stupid shit because you know what the site expects of you.

Always report anyone asking for things that shouldn't be and you're groovy.

I wouldn't be too sure about this. When I first started to broadcast I was bombarded by people (usually claiming to be women) who would try and TRY to get me to do something against the TOS. These people would cleverly word their approaches so that I could never quite ban them. It got so bad that just about every women who chatted with me would make me shake my head and wonder how long before they would needle me for something bad. Then, after about a year, they all vanished. I haven't had even one in the last year or two. I'm pretty sure that I was the new model being tested.

I mean, I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm really just not sure. lol But this is why I've been so suspicious sort of. I've been doing this a while and never seen it until like 2-3 months ago. Like they don't quite talk like your average horny person. They literally start poking and prodding like a really crappy undercover cop. They are always a colored profile so it shows they have tokens but haven't spent shit. The screen name is like extra generic, and like of the idk 5-6 of them ish I have suspected have all chatted in a similar pattern which is why I started thinking about it.

It could be perhaps a troll. Greys can't talk because they don't have tokens in my chat, I had someone who reported me and blew up my chat with like 12 different accounts. This has all been happening after that. But like the advice above, just gotta know your TOS.

While Chaturbate absolutely has its flaws, I don’t think they’re ridiculous enough to send their own people in to try to trap models. And I think they’re too busy dealing with the swarm of “Help, my account is banned!” e-mails.

Those people who were trying to bait you were just pathetic losers who like to prey on new models. If any of them were fellow models, then they were mean girl JABs (jealous ass bitches 😂) trying to “get rid of the competition”…instead of focusing on their own damn rooms. Years ago some awful woman came to my MFC free chat, and posted in my chat room…telling my viewers that I’m a “fugly” model, AND she told them to go check her out on Skype. I would definitely recommend that models go into their settings to block model accounts from their chat, whenever possible.

Omg you paranoid fucks

Stop it

I have been a model on CB for 12 fucking years and never encountered a thing you conspiracy bitches are moaning about. You suck at your job if you can't be bold enough to weed out rule breakers without flinching.

Well, in this business a little paranoia is a good thing. The mystery remains, however: Why this happened only in my first year at CB. (mid 2015-2016) and then abruptly stopped. My guess is they weren't CB employees, but law enforcement people or those self-appointed vigilantes, but that doesn't explain why they stopped, unless they actually survey only new models. I think that because I'm a male model and encourage what I call "ethical fetishes" among my viewers, I was subject to more scrutiny. than most. What's the quip: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get you.

You've been in this industry long enough by now that you should have realize that there are lots of trolls and people out just to get a rise out of you for their own entertainment.

The reason it was only when you were new, is because YOU WERE NEW. New broadcasters are seen as the easiest targets to these sort of people.

It isn't law enforcement, it isn't CB staff.

For fuck's sake, guys.

Honestly, wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't one of the main reasons so many people fail out hard their first year. If you can't hold firm boundaries, say no, and are someone who's easily influenced you're gonna crash hard your first year. As we see with all the model account banned threads here at this forum.

This isn't a friendly, wendly, rosey posey business. You got a say no and be ok with the fact that many people who don't know you, hate you and want you to fail, right out the gate. And you need to know at least the big rules. And take them very seriously. Not everyone is wired or built to thrive in more cut throat environments, at least right off the bat anyways. New models are targets beginning first stream. No if, and or buts. Way, way moreso than the rest of us.

It happened to me the most when I had the new tag as well, as Amber said it's very typical. I did notice your point that they were being vague or trying to skirt around the point- I think this is an example of a dogwhistle essentially because they want to see if you're hip to their lingo. Because for better or worse there are models who are willing to break those rules and have avenues to funnel viewers offsite for some forbidden type of show. They want to see if you're one of those models, or want to see if they can convince you to become that type of model. Especially if you seem shy or naive, it's even a kink for them to get a shy person doing something forbidden. Signed, a shy girl. 🤢

And viewer count has a large impact, if they think you're desperate they'll start with the forbidden stuff.
