This is kind of my feeling and the reason why I wasn't too excited when people thought our prez kicked the bucket. I was like oh great now we have maga 2 electric boogaloo in jd lol.

Yes, unfortunately we’re beyond the point of Orange Julius being a singular threat. Too many money- and power-hungry people on his side have learned the playbook and adopted the strategies by now. It’ll be way too tempting for many of them to try to fill that void.

Oh, and apparently we have Sharia law in London according to DJT because we have a Muslim mayor.

I live in the same London town as our mayor - first I’ve seen/heard of it.
He's so breathtakingly stupid you only have to say how stupid he is and everyone knows who you mean.

Well they just indicted Comey. And all flag officers are to report to Quantico next week? We're about to warp speed ahead.

Again, what is it with them putting all the eggs in one big basket in front of the nation's enemies *AND* TELLING THE WORLD ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND?!

FML, if they're made to do a public swearing of allegiance to the party...

This Is Fine GIF

I saw this quote from Pam Bondi:
"Today's indictment reflects this Department of Justice's commitment to holding those who abuse positions of power accountable for misleading the American people. We will follow the facts in this case."

But will anyone be brave enough to extend that approach on accountability to the very highest office? That's where they should start the process IMO.

The US Attorney that indicted Comey was appointed to the position 3 days before the indictment. Prior to that she was a career real estate attorney (Trump's).
The US attorney she replaced was a career gov attorney who resigned after refusing to charge Comey because there was no case or evidence against him.
This is going to fail in court bigly

All that top leadership in one place at one time. I wonder if they appointed a designated survivor?

If you mean Amber's post, it is a snip of Reddit post in 'law' by usatoday, title:
'Supreme Court won't revisit landmark decision legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide'
Thanks. In Amber's post all I see is "Microsoft Edge blocked this image."

I always find America vaguely fascinating and terrifying at the same time. We did this back in about 2006 or 2007 and nobody batted an eyelid, let alone involved the Supreme Court.
The supreme court is really the worst idea americans have ever come up with. They have no term limits and once appointed just get to....decide whatever they want no matter what the rest of the govt or the people decide?? It's....something.

Today, Megyn Kelly actually tried to defend EPSTEIN. She said he was into “barely legal” types and gave an age that missed being legal by a whole three years.

15 is not “barely legal.” It’s illegal. But that’s not stopping her from beginning the process of brainwashing Trump’s base into thinking this behavior was no big deal.

These people will explain away absolutely any crime if it helps them hold on to their expensive houses and positions of power. So vile.

  • Sorry to hear that.

Leavitt: “the newly released Epstein emails prove absolutely nothing. Other than President Trump did nothing wrong.”

🤔
See her problem is that she's married to a dude 30-years-older than she is so she's just now sowing her daddy issue oats and thinks if this would happen to women earlier in their lives, their husbands will die while they're still relatively young and they get to keep the money. Republican women are anti-feminism (even though she shouldn't be holding a job if she actually believed what she preaches).

There are issues feminism created that weren't really there before and led to the economy we have now. But it's not black and white and has a ton of nuance. There's someone younger than I am (and who holds a finance degree) who swears women didn't have lines of credit or credit cards in the 80's and she was born AFTER we were granted financial freedom. That's what she claims.

It's not true. My mom bought a house when I was really young. She had as many credit cards are she wanted. She had a car in her name and the loan to go with it. As did every other woman under the ECOA of 1974. So it's pretty interesting to see where people choose to allow blind spots like this.

If he did nothing wrong he’d be demanding the files get released so we can all see that.

If the true details didn’t reflect poorly on him, he wouldn’t give a shit.

Here's what I think...

Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files, fully thinking that his best friend in the whole wide raping world would never ever say a mean thing about him or rat him out. After all, Epstein went to jail, not Trump. Though I remind the gallery that Trump is an adjudicated rapist.

Reading through what I have so far -- Epstein had zero respect for Trump (and let's face it, most of these people don't respect each other, it's just glad-handing and making the next deal). Epstein repeatedly tries to send journalists into rabbit holes about Trump's finances and proclivities. But Trump doesn't email so he was never in on these circles and was never told to his face what Epstein was saying. This is also why they "BUT HER EMAILS" with Clinton. This may also have a lot to do with the files he stole and hid.

In his mind, he had nothing to lose and besides he could shoot a person on 5th Avenue and be acquitted.

Trump invited Epstein to Mara-Lago for Thanksgiving in 2017. That day he had the visitor records destroyed and declared he, as President, didn't have to tell the citizens of America whom he was meeting with on his private property.

There's more but I haven't gotten to it yet.

It’s crazy that the King of England stripped his own brother of the Prince title, kicked him out of his Royal Lodge residence and removed his military titles over a ‘Democrat Hoax’.

🤷🏻‍♂️

But he has the sole power to do that and no one here does. [Redacted] or natural causes will only rid of us of this meddlesome priest.
