He might not mean to be giving you this impression. Men's brains are wired differently from ours, especially in the area of communication. They really struggle a lot to communicate clearly what they are thinking. Then a lot of them are also terrified of us, and having conflicts with us, so they get nervous on top of that. Then their ability to say what they mean, clearly, (in a reasonable timeframe) is even worse! You might be correct that he is disregarding your feelings, but there also may be a lot more, and different stuff going on. Everyone likes to say they are simple, but they are not. I would try to investigate further and try to get him to open up more, so you can get a more confident and clearer picture of his motivations, fears, etc. Not easy to do, though. I don't envy you, but I have to deal with the same exact thing, on the daily! Never found one who is actually good at it (communicating thoroughly, honestly, and clearly, verbally).

ETA: Thank God for their Weinz, because there has to be some kind of motivation to inspire all that Gooddamn Herculean effort to try to have a clear convo!

I think I can communicate clearly what I’m feeling/thinking? 🙋‍♂️ I’m also not terrified of cam models.

Where you been all my life Baby?

ETA; When I said that, though, I did mean specifically terrified of women who they are romantically and sexually involved with in a committed relationship.

Gotcha - I thought it was a sweeping statement and I’m like “hey, I’m here, I can and do 🙋‍♂️
Oh yeah, sorry about that, I meant more in an intimate, personal, sexually romantic, and committed context. When it has to do with emotions, needs, and conflict. Like I guess a way of putting it would be relational communication (but with intimate relational communication), not all communication. My apologies 🤍

ETA; And remember my adult experience with that is primarily in the US. So technically, I've never met an American male who is good at that. Culture may or may not be a factor. In general, though, I was taught that men process verbal information differently, and therefore it's more work for them. I don't trust the education system here, and I feel I grossly overpaid for what I actually got, so I'll go ahead and research this topic further on Google Scholar anyway:party: Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if what I was taught was complete horseshit. When I compare the years I spent growing up nin Britain, with the years I've spent here, unfortunately the education and heal;th systems here fall way, way short. And that's even in solid blue state. Idk what Britain is like now though.

Got it. Thanks for explaining - how awesome that you consider the communication so deeply.
