    I'd actually just stick with your PS2 unless you're mainly getting it as a collector's item, since the sound emulation for both PS1 and PS2 games was pretty terrible on mine (the 60GB launch model), and it died after only a couple of years, which apparently isn't that uncommon of an occurrence...
