Follow very attractive and (I think?) successful chaturbate model.
Scroll down twitter feed and BAM image of what very much looks like her sexually abusing a dog. I unfollowed really quick, wish I had made a note of her chaturbate/twitter name or SOMETHING but I was pretty disgusted and really caught off guard. :(

Jessi, you could probably still find her name in your history. I hate when people hurt animals or children, so I would be very interested in knowing her name to report her.

Made the mistake of checking out a few camgirl twitter accounts. Too many wtf moments to document but the overall biggest wtf is how lacking in self awareness some of them are. I was under the impression that camgirls were using twitter to advertise, interact with friends and hopefully get some new customers but some seem to go out of their way to look miserable and turn off potential new customers. Arguing with trolls, trying to shame other people on twitter and just being as unlikeable as can be. Now, I know what you're thinking "Aww come on Punk, these girls are probably 18 and new to camming and don't understand the marketing and business side of things yet, give em time." Yeah no, no. Some have been around long enough to know better. The fucked up thing is that the blueprint is there, plenty of models taking full advantage of twitter, plenty of good role models to follow. I just don't get it, why actively try to make less money?

I think it's because that is their personal (and not only their cam persona) twitter account and they don't see that as only a marketing plataform, so if they are really passionate about a certain topic or they want to express their opinion they will tweet about it.

I don't know. I get what you're saying but at the same time that is a people twitter account and not a company account - and sometimes people will get their foot in their mouths.

Besides, twitter accounts that tweets only things like "I'm only online, cum (hehehe) check me out" are boring.

I actually agree with Punk here. There's a huge difference between A.) only having 'I'm online, give me money!' tweets, B.) being personable/chatty/friendly and having a more personal timeline while still talking about camming/showtimes/content, and C.) bashing other people/calling out trolls/engaging in every little drama that comes around. Preferably, camgirl Twitters should be the 'B' option; it's not hard to be yourself and have fun on Twitter without getting drawn into drama, and it's definitely better for business/earning potential to not fill your timeline with bitchiness.

Think of it this way: Let's say that a pizza company is trying to hype up their pizza/fast delivery times/some sort of new breadstick online. So they're tweeting about specials, and someone replies to a tweet saying "Hurr hurr, but I can get free pizza if I go to my friend's house! Why should I buy yours, stupid?!" (so like one of the 'porn should be free' guys, haha). Now the pizza place has three choices, all of which fit into the scenarios I already outlined above. They could A.) ignore the tweet/not reply and seem aloof or disinterested in their customers, B.) reply with "Man, I wish I had a friend like that, free pizza is the best! Hope it's pepperoni! :D", or C.) be like "Really, dude? I'm trying to SELL things here, this is my LIVELIHOOD on the line. How dare you talk about free pizza on here! I'm blocking your ass RIGHT NOW!" Now which one do you think is going to be better for business in the long run?

:twocents-02cents:

There have been a ton of times I've cringed at some of the things cam girls say on Twitter. There is a balance to be found when it comes to a cam girl twitter account, I think. Once in a while it can be fun to toy with a troll or make a joke/example of someone saying something really dumb. Or have a day here or there with some depressing or slightly opinionated tweets. But that has to be a very small % of the girls' entire timeline. Personable, yes. Drama-seeking? No. We really have to pick our battles that we participate in out in the public eye.

I've also always felt that cam girls should avoid heavily controversial topics (unless of course that's their main persona and their whole schtick is politics, debate and controversy. I'm more so talking about the run of the mill cam girl, here.) When an otherwise likable girl all of a sudden posts graphic images to prove a point on some controversial topic or goes on a bitchy rampage, it turns me off from admiration I may have felt previously. I have a "eww, really?" moment. Maybe make a disapproving ugly face at my computer screen, and may or may not unfollow them.

At the end of the day you need to be likable by the broadest audience possible, unless you're ONLY aiming to fulfill a very specific niche.

Being a cam girl is a social job, so your social media should be an extension of the socializing that people should expect to find in your cam room.

I just assume that whatever I see on twitter is exactly what I'll find live and I'm sure most every member feels the same. Be human but represent yourself as the camgirl that you want to be known as.
If you spout negativity every day people will expect your camroom to be a downer, and even if it's not... they are not likely to even risk trying it out. Most people watch cams to distract themselves from the negativity in the world and to have fun, not to feel bad.

I gave myself a rule awhile ago that I think has been great for my overall personal joy.
Only Engage trolls when it's funny and makes you and others laugh. Take the negativity they tried to poison you with and turn it around into something that elevates. Nothing is more elevating than laughter.

This is moreso something a model did, which I suppose is understandable given that I didn't make a great first impression, but I still think instantly getting your first-ever ban for sending a single message to chat during a show is a bit harsh when you don't know that such a rule exists (and, by extension, why you got banned). :S

What was said must have been a doozy. To be fair though, most models have their room rules posted on their profile.

I ban/ignore on first offense if there's a terrible dick/cum/sex gif posted. It's written on my profile that if you do that, the result will be a mute and/or a ban.

People who think that posting sort of thing is cool aren't the sort of people I want in my chat room. SenorBanana, were you referencing the incident in my chat during my cum show last night?

If someone tries to control my show, begs me to moan their name the whole time, or forces their fetish into the chat (ex calling themselves daddy) then I ban them. Everything is on my profile. I don't need people thinking they are entitled to controlling me, begging, and distracting from my show. It throws off my whole cum fun and is just rude imo.

You can always contact the model through a message or Twitter to see what happened :-D I happily give people a second chance especially if they appologize :)

What I said was actually, ironically, a polite "eh" sort of response to what I perceived to be a "shut-up-in-chat-focus-on-the-main-attraction"-type message from another guy in chat, without realizing it was an actual rule. :p

I actually checked her profile when I first went on and didn't see a rule about that, so I either missed it or it wasn't there. Either way, though, I just think an insta-ban for something that minor is a bit extreme.

No, I was referring to something that happened to me personally in another room, and I actually don't think I was there for the above. I'm actually one that advocates bans of those sorts of things, as they're considered rude basically everywhere on MFC, and nearly impossible to control with warnings in a larger chat (much like FrankerZ emote walls in twitch.tv streams), so, yeah, no problem with that whatsoever.

What was most alarming to me about the situation for me was that, when I came into her room again, she explained what happened to which I apologized, in turn telling the other girl on the stream that "This is why I don't like Banana, as I don't need to hear your life story," which was a bit disheartening.

Looking back, I suppose I understand why the model looked at it badly, but from my perspective, as a newcomer to the room, it was just a bit of a shock. I actually was hesitant about posting since I don't really have anything against the model; it was just a bit of a WTF moment for me that I thought I'd share.

I've been banned for simply being in a room a couple of times before. It seems to happen uncommonly but not rarely in rooms where girls don't get much of a population of visitors, and they hit the ban at the behest of someone else, like a possessive member who is probably a primary source of her income, or a studio "manager" checking the token amounts or whatever as people enter her room.

Just got an email from a random model I've never heard of before asking me to come to her room and tip. Decided to look at her profile. The comments were interesting.

Kind of makes a lot of sense out of her camscore.

I was almost going to put this in the 'advice for new models' thread as an example of what not to do.

And here I thought MFC was a webcam site that emphasized chatting... So I'm browsing through the models online (always a bad idea), and I find myself in a chat room where the "girl" does nothing but shake her ass in the air. Never turns around, never shows her breasts or her face. Obviously never talks either. All she does is type on her keyboard and shake her ass. So not every guy in her room is cool with this, and several are trying to question her. "Do you ever show your face?" And she gives several bitchy replies to this, but the one I thought was the most fucked up was when she said, "I only show my face when I'm in the mood." WTF?

I might have an explanation for this. I have had a guy several times very late at night ask me for this. He sends consistent large private tips for it over the course of about an hour. I've had people complain and I usually just ignore it because I'm being paid very very well to literally surf the net and shake my bum. I explain to my regulars what the deal is if they pop in but it's always during a time I'm not generally online.

Has anyone else received a picture from a model they don't know? Good promo timing but still weird.

I once received a bunch of videos from one. Got a PM for my e-mail, gave her one of my many spam addresses and suddenly video poofed into my inbox.

I saw quite a few models asking for/complaining when they didn't get Valentines gifts from members. Which kinda confused me. Models (generally) can't stress enough that they're there for virtual entertainment and are not a romantic pursuit for members to attempt to woo. Maybe I take Valentines as a concept too literally, but I wouldn't give a Valentines gift to someone I was neither a) romantically pursuing or b) already in a relationship with (and then I'd expect one back :?). So that obviously rules out buying things for cam girls.

I didn't even realize that was actually a thing until reading your post (my first visit to a camsite was March last year). I've given Christmas and birthday gifts to models but it never even occurred to me a model would expect a valentines gift. The whole idea of that seems shocking to me.

I mean, to each his own and giving models any tips for any reason is a positive thing in my eyes so good on anyone who did.

I was speaking to perhaps one of my favourite models over the last 8 years. She had been on vacation, I told her about the big tip for Kendra this month, only as news/ gossip (and how even with this tip how she lost #1 ranking so quickly).... she then goes into a big rant about models selling out their souls, US model millionaires, and escorting. I don't get it at all, that someone who is close to being a millionaire off camming has so little respect for other models.
I don't know if she was trying to protect me from such models/ from myself, was just being honest, or just jealous of how easy it is for some?

She did give me a few quite specific examples of how models use their members by playing the 'love' game with them for big tips, and she implied that this is common, something she couldn't do. I will say she doesn't play such games either, she was being honest.
I just don't get why she can't see most other models, she doesn't know as the same as her, in my experience, especially with the top models like her, they are.

Went into a Russian models room that I haven't been in in forever, she didn't remember me. So we went through the hi, how are you normal entrance conversation. Then she did the "how old are you," followed by "what's your name" and "where you from." None of that is all that out of the ordinary from foreign models really, but then she caught me off guard with "do you have Instagram?"

I can honestly say that one caught me off guard and made me think WTF...

Lol. You just convinced me I need to venture outside Model's Only more often.

I don't get it. Some models are pretty loosey-goosey with their social media and she may have just wanted to suggest that you check her out there and follow her.
