Trying hard not to RAGE LOL :angry4: My vanilla friend and I wete chatting she supports what I do but she was like you should get a real job and cam on weekends. Then I explained how much work camming is and I dont wanna do that etc. She is like, but is it really that draining? In a nutshell she said its not a real job, its not stable, and its not a real job....

I calmly explained to her how it is a business and you have to work hard and build a brand and it is mentally exhausting smiling and hustlin on cam for hours.

Seems to me like she doesn't respect what you do... :twocents-02cents:

A lot of people are ignorant to the fact that camming is work. Don't let it upset you, people just don't know. :thumbleft:

Just as an occasional watcher of camshows, I find statements like these so cringe-worthy and narrow-minded. The basis for it not being a "real" job in general seems to be based on this whole idea of "trying to get pennies thrown at you for selling your body," which isn't inherently a bad thing and doesn't really accurately portray the job of camming as a whole anyway. The statement itself is based on little more than flawed interpretation of stereotypes in pop culture, and completely ignores the dedication and effort the job actually requires, akin to referring to a lawyer as "just someone who makes a living off arguing with people." I mean, you can dumb things down, but there's a point at which the analogy outright doesn't work, case in point.

Besides, If you're attractive and have the smarts to use that to your potential, more power to you; that's something that I think should be encouraged, not frowned upon for no other reason than warped and baseless social norms. :p

roddymcnaked1980: lol i would drag my nutsack over two miles of broken glass just to hear you fart ;p

Dude just said this, and I remember reading something similar hear before. They must share lines on reddit or something.

I saw "I would drag my balls through a mile of broken glass just to look at a picture of your feet on a GameBoy Color" the other day :)
That seems like an awful lot of effort for a 160x144 pixel image on a screen that can't even process 16-bit color...

Ah, yeah, that guy was on TeenKate's chat as well. I think he may be a bot, but I'm not sure.

For the sake of his penis, I hope he is a bot!

One porn actress got this question on her tumblr. Ew.

18 is an arbitrary number. In an ideal world in a parallel universe, at what age would you have liked to have started doing porn?

So, an "ideal" world in which everyone can start doing porn whenever they want to, as 18 is just an "arbitrary" number anyway? :banghead:

do you know pov view?

Yes, I also know ATM machine and PIN number.....

My mom told me I would get ink poisoning from tattoos.

I am covered in tattoos, do I look poisoned to you?

Does Streammate have anywhere that members can actually see a list of what is and is not allowed? There are so many people who come through trying to get models to agree to incest play, yet we're not even allowed to say "daddy", and models have been warned/suspended for saying it, even when it was part of a member's name

Good question. One of my gripes about SM is it's lack of readily accessible info.

From SM's TOS:

(1) post, transmit, or promote any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable Content; (2) harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort upon another Member or user of Streamate or other person or entity; (3) post, transmit, promote, link, or facilitate the distribution of content that may generally be considered obscene, including, but not necessarily limited to, bestiality, urination/defecation, fisting, incest, extreme sado-masochism or bondage presented in a sexual context, or any presentation of minors engaged in intimate physical contact or sexual situations, acted or depicted. (4) disrupt the normal flow of dialogue in a chat room or on a message board or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other Members, users, individuals or entities, such as causing the screen to "scroll" faster than other Members or users are able to type to it or any action to a similar disruptive effect; (5) impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Streamate official, an ICP, forum leader, guide or host, or communicate under a false name or a name that you are not entitled or authorized to use, or impersonate a minor; (6) post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, chain letters or pyramid schemes; (7) post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation to other Members, individuals or entities, or collect or harvest screen names of other Members, without permission; (8) post or transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted, any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private financial information from any Member; (9) violate any operating rules, policies or guidelines of any other interactive service, including, but not limited to, the operating policies of the International Areas; or (10) intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national, international or foreign law, including, but not limited to, any rules or regulations having the force of law.

I think some some members are just too lazy to read all that. I had a guy who blew up Streamate room one time repeating: "SHE HATES WHITE MEN", it was on classic chat so nobody could see what the asshole was saying  And then I've had 2 people try to show me child pornography, I've reported them and blocked them both. I had one of those guys just 2 days ago, it was very disturbing because he said "Like pervy?" and at first I was confused so I said "Uh, what exactly do you mean?" And he showed his phone and I don't even want to say what I saw but when I asked if that was seriously a kid he turned his phone back to his face and was..ya know. And I blocked him and reported him.

And I was even thinking the same thing "Don't members have rules as well?" Or is it just pure ignorance? It frustrates the hell out of me when I think about it. I won't even offer roleplay because I don't like being asked if I'll do incest and daddy roleplay. And when I get asked if I have a younger brother oooo :angry4: it sets me on fire. But I calmly explain that I will not talk about that and that they should never ask me that again or they will get blocked.

I'm sure it's not that hard to read between the lines. If I was member, who wanted to see women, I wouldn't want to get blocked from the site but I guess most people don't even think about that and think they can just walk into a cammodels and say some really disgusting things. I don't get it.

Emma, pretty much every guy who's asked me for role play was looking for incest. A few are looking for non-specific age play, but most want incest.

My recent "wtf" is the sudden upsurge in dudes from other countries (mainly the UK and Australia) not being happy with just "I live in the US", and asking which state I'm in. I don't really get why it matters all that much to folks who live in the States, so why someone on the other side of the planet would need to know that really puzzles me. Does your dick have specific geographical coordinates that it can't get hard without?

Though regardless of where they live, they all leave when I answer the state question with "that's not important".

There's a Romanian model on SM who, if a member even HAS "Daddy" or kindred in his name, she goes off on him, lecturing him for five minutes, then blocks him. lol

Damnnnn. "You go girl"

I actually had something happen a few days ago that was realllly funny so I actually didn't block the guy.

OH MY GOSH EMMAAAAA THIS IS YOUR UNCLE MIKE YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING THIS
*I said this outloud* Okay, first off, I don't have an Uncle Mike so you can stop with that right there.
THIS IS YOUR UNCLE JOE
I don't have an Uncle Joe!
THIS IS YOUR UNCLE MARK
Nope you're wrong again.
FUUCCCKKKKK

Everyone else could see what he was saying... So, it turned out to be funny. And then before he left he was like "Well I'm sorry about that lol have a good night cutie".

That's the only time that anything like that made me laugh.

New newest pet peeve is members coming into my room showing tokens then if I check again in half an hour or so I see less or no more tokens.

It's ok to lurke in my room for hours. I won't disturb your perving in any way shape or form.

It's ok to not tip every day. I appreciate when you do.

It's perfectly ok to not be interested in me. I can live with that.

BUT please, for the sake of my sanity, hide your bloody toke count if your gonna not be interested in me and forget about me on some lost tab in the corner of your browser! Even lost corner tabs have feelings too!
