Hi everyone,

I’m interested in getting started with streaming and would really appreciate some advice from experienced models. I’ve heard that starting out as a solo male model can be a bit challenging — especially when it comes to building an audience, understanding platform rules, and handling the technical setup. Any beginner tips or guidance would mean a lot to me.

In the future, I’d also like to explore doing mixed (male-female) or group shows, so I’m curious about what kind of equipment, space, or permissions are usually needed for that.

Right now, I’m living with my family, so streaming from home isn’t really possible. Because of that, I’m interested in working with a studio or joining a team. I’d love to know how I can find a studio near me or what the best way is to reach out to one.

On a side note, I’m also into drawing and design — I can help with profile pictures, banners, or other visual designs for models or studios who might need them. It would be great to collaborate and contribute in that way while I gain more experience in this field.

I've been skimming through the posts here for a bit. I hope I'm not posting in the wrong place. I'm still trying to learn the site.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to share advice or info — I really appreciate the support.

Some important info is missing
first , your location if you're for example Colombian you may find a studio but if you''re , for example, dutch , then now way.
and even if you find a studio , what will make them want you ?

second , your motivation , some voyeurism is good but it should not be your main motivation, making income should be your main motivation.

and you already think about mixed shows ... if your girlfriend/wife wants to join then go ahead but if you think about collaborating with other (female) models
just know they are not interested in you.

So if you want to stream you really need your own place and don't think about mixed shows

I live in Türkiye, but I'll be going to Russia for my master's degree in the summer. I've been using Stripchat for 5 years. I think I've mastered the system. The only problem is the initial part. I don't think I'll have any problems communicating with customers. So, if I rent a house or office for myself, can I set up a studio directly? Is there any cost other than furniture and camera equipment? Do I need to establish a company? (

There used to be almost no broadcasters in my country, but its popularity has been increasing for the past 2 years (far less than in other countries, but at peak times there are around 40 active broadcasters at the same time).

If I manage to establish a studio, should I send an offer only to them (because there are 81 cities in the country I live in and it's even possible that there is no one in my city haha) or are there places like Fiverr or LinkedIn where I can find people who want to do this job?

I'm sorry it's so long and there are so many questions. If you can find the time to answer them, I'd be happy. Thank you.

So the housing problem is solved ...
But you should know Adult webcamming is illegal in Russia !
So all studio's are in fact illegal businesses.
If you reach out to a studio (if they want you, what i doubt) you make yourself very vulnerable as a foreigner in Russia
and they take 50% or more of your money.
If you cam from your home you can do that as a private person (don't tell anyone) and you have the advantage you
can make your payouts to your Turkish bank account (.. and pay Turkish income taxes ...)

I currently have a company in United kingdom for e-commerce I can allocate a budget of around $10,000 for this job.
(My goal is to get to know the market rather than making money in the beginning. I may be wrong, but at the end of the day, I believe it is an enjoyable job. At the end of the day, you have a low risk of losing . I've been using strip chat for 5 years and I want to move on to the other side of the business. )
What should I pay attention to when renting a property to set up a studio? Is it logical to rent a place in the city center or further away?
How many rooms should there be and how big should the rooms be?
From what I've talked to models in Russia, studios charge between 30-60%, depending on the model's experience and broadcast hours.
I think from what I understand from your writings, it makes more sense to establish a studio rather than opening a publication as a single man.
I guess what I should ask briefly is what are the requirements for setting up a studio and how much budget is required? Second As you said, what strategy should I follow to find a model? I cannot post a job on LinkedIn for an illegal job 😅 Do I need to contact models that already make carpets individually, or is there a website, system, or intermediary institutions for this?

Sorry for the long and boring questions, I appreciate your support. 🙏🏻

I think the consensus here would be that you should just continue being a cam model and not try to run a business FOR other cam models since you clearly lack the business knowledge and experience required to do so. As highlighted below

I also don't think you need people to make carpets :D

Ayrıca halı yapmak için insanlara ihtiyacınız olduğunu düşünmüyorum :D
But I have to start somewhere to gain experience, madame.

When you entered this sector, did you come in knowing everything or did you learn on the inside?

As I mentioned in the article, I've been spending time on these sites for years and want to get into the nitty-gritty of the business. I want to see this as an experience.
Also, when I go to Russia, I'll need to rent a house anyway. I'd like to turn this into an opportunity.
I think the idea of renting a large house and earning extra income with furniture and equipment is a risk worth taking (I don't have to work here; only single girls or groups of girls can work, like passive income). I'm traveling, or I need to return to my home country after finishing my master's degree, or I need to move to another country.

But can I learn more about why you think so? After all, reason is superior to reason and experience is something that cannot be bought with money.

So a few things:

1) Webcamming is illegal in Russia, you will be too vulnerable for that not to go badly, all it takes is another studio or an unhappy model to report you and you wont be finishing your masters and probably wont be going back to Turkey.

2) Running a studio is not a part time business, you need to be there to communicate with the site when issues come up, you need to handle all the technical issues, you need to provide support to the models while they are working

3) Running a studio is far from passive income and the fact that you think it's passive means that you are not anywhere close enough in understanding the business to try and run a studio. You dont just need girls to be on cam, you also need to hire trainers (and with you lack of experience how will you know if the trainer you are hireing is good?) , translators, cleaners, etc etc, if you dont then you are offering less than all other studios so why would anyone choose your studio?

4) Webcamming is illegal in Russia

If you want to know how to run a studio, I recommend going to work in a studio and seeing what goes into it.

I think the consensus here would be that you should just continue being a cam model
I would also recommend against camming while he is in russia, because of reason number 4. He will be a guest in the country, don't shouldnt go with the intention of breaking their laws. All it would take is a pissed off naighbour to call the police and he would get an extended stay. IMO if he wants to finish his masters, it's not worth the risk, there's plenty of ways to make money online that are perfectly legal in russia, why go for one of the few that isnt.

Thanks, I actually think the same way you do, but the key is that I need to work to gain experience, as you mentioned, but I'm looking for a studio, but I haven't found one yet.

Do you have any advice on this?

A few models told me to search on Facebook, but there are mostly Colombian studios.

And when ı told by part-time, I don't mean completely disconnecting from work, but one of my dreams is a small world tour in a caravan. If I ever find a partner, we can start a livestream together in our caravan and create videos that are partly sex and partly lifestyle, like the sex vlogs I see on Pornhub.

You're right about having a reliable and happy team at the studio during this time. But when I say I want to treat this as a side hustle, I don't mean earning a lot of money here. I just want to get into the business. I think a 25% commission would be enough, as long as I can cover my expenses.

At the end of the day, my main goal is just to get into the kitchen, so I don't know. I actually want to thank the models here. I didn't think so many people would be interested and respond.

Camming in your situation at all is dangerous and not recommended especially one that is so public as Stripchat. You are looking at getting deported and losing the chance at a degree at best but there is definitely 0 need for a studio. If you go ahead and decide to just register with your Turkish documents showing yourself still in Turkey and have everything deposited to your Turkish account as a solo performer. If your wife/girlfriend wants to stream with you at a later date you can add her to your account then.
Does Beyzam not accept men? If you insist on camming then a private based site that caters to a Turkish customer base would be safer.

There is no problem in withdrawing money to a Turkish account, but I do not want to work with Turkish customers. Since you know Turkish models, I assume you are Turkish and you know that you are aware of our country's economic crisis and that a Turkish person earns less than other country users and spends less money on it.

I prefer Russia because Russia and Colombia are central to this sector and I can obtain a visa from Russia. I will need to rent a house and not buy furniture anyway when I go to Russia, so I take the risk of being caught.

I just can't find the starting point haha I need to continue researching and getting information from you. I'll be in Russia in 7 months and I hope to have at least laid a foundation when I get there))
